Bernadette I am really enjoying your trip report!

I have no idea what park we will be at on our last day. Do you want to eat at a park or a resort? Elizabeth what about you? Give me ideas of where you like to eat & we can go from there :thumbsup2

I just went downstairs to get some meat out of the freezer & everything was thawed. Gary checked the breakers & for some reason the breaker had tripped. I am so upset losing all that food :headache:

So sorry about your freezer.

Either would be fine with us. Do you guys think a buffet would be easier? We all really enjoyed Boma (even my picky one), Cape May, and CP. We've had both good & bad experiences at O'Hana. I've never been to Whispering Canyon (that one isn't a buffet) but heard the food is good and it can be really fun. I wasn't overwhelmed by Chef Mickeys.

I've got to go do that laundry I've been avoiding all weekend. Maybe I'll be back between loads.

I was going through my mail and saw Pluto on a postcard! Called up and got Pop preferred for the 5 Mousefest nights, tax included, $317!!!!!:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Terry and I are going to Disney!!!!! Mousefest cruise/land 2008 here we come!!!!!!!:woohoo: :yay: :woohoo: :yay:

Okay, back to your regularly scheduled dising....:surfweb: :surfweb: :surfweb:

Happy Birthday Karen!!! party: :cake: party:

I am a proud mamma right now....

Katie's artwork is being displayed in a county art museum. She is one of 3 kids from her school asked to show her work. We all went to see her art in the gallery & then there was a reception & raffle. The newspaper people came to take her picture. I was so proud of her!!!!! Her art teacher was even there to support her. When I had received the letter regarding this I had no idea what a big deal it turned out to be. Some of the work displayed there was very professional looking so we were very honored her work was chosen. So I can't yell at her tonight when she leaves her clothes & towels on the floor in the bathroom after her shower!

We went to Applebee's for dinner & now we are expecting a snow storm for tonight into tomorrow morning....

Finally a gadget that I WANT!!!

Well now that the breaker has been reset, it is working fine  I guess I will have to check it everyday to make sure it is on.

We have never eaten at Cape May for dinner, I wouldn't mind trying that if you are all up to it. I plan on us eating at CP on our 1st full park day & I have WCC picked out for a lunch on another day. I agree about Chef Mickey's, but I do plan on trying breakfast there sometime.

Bernadette,
I just got to see your photopass pictures. I love the one with Joe holding Simba! So cute! Also the one with you & Joe in front of the castle with the fireworks going off from the forecourt show! Awesome!

Janet - if it's still cold, I'd at least try to cook up all the ground beef - I'd be more concerned if the door was left open and everything was lukewarm.

I'm going to borrow your cute post, Elin. BTW -- sorry, but I have no advice -- haven't been to CA in January before. I wear black and brown year-round (they're so slimming!) so I think you can't go wrong there, and with layering. Have a great trip! I hope the concerts go well!

Thanks, Marci. I have lots of black and brown too, but I am not certain that is good for CA. So, this morning I went to Macy's and bought some silk cardigans to go with some shells and turtlenecks I have: one each in cream, black and berry. I think I can put those together with some scarves and jewelry and be OK. I will take my British tan leather jacket and a black twill "jean" jacket too. And a purple boucle' knit cardigan from Coldwater Creek. I think this will all work for daywear. Night dressing will be black crepe dress slacks and two different tops: one a cream lace and the other a bronze/black/brown cowl neck silk and lurex top. I wore it to Party for the Senses with Lindsay! I ought to be OK, I think!

Anyone know anything about US Airways? Are they a good airline? They have some flights out of Green Bay and I am wondering about them. Thanks for any info you might have.

We used to fly them a lot, Vicki. I find them to be fine.

Cape May sounds good unless Elizabeth has a better idea.

Thanks! The photographer that took the photo with the fireworks was great. He told us they were about to go off so we should just keep looking at him while he took lots of photos to try to catch them.

Oh no. :sad2: Can you cook some things up real quick and prepare meals? At least some stuff would be salvagable then. I'm so sorry.

That's what I was thinking...I am so sorry Janet.

WOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Elin - Have a wonderful time! People in CA wear all kinds of clothes in the winter. I've seen plenty of "winter" clothing, but you could go fall or whatever. When we lived there I tended to wear fall type of clothing until spring as winter stuff was too hot for me.

Thanks, Tia! I knew you all would know if I was on the right track! :goodvibes
