Well I found a black tee shirt today. I am going to wear that design but I am going to see if I can request without the date on it.

I need some pixie dust and prayers please. we just got a phone call from my grandmothers retirement home that she was taken to the hospital. she said she was hearing voices and was feeling weak so they sent her just for safety and to get her checked out. she is 90. just the other day she told my dad i dont wanna live to 100 but i'm not ready to go either. her mom lived to 103. so hopefully she is okay and will live 10 more years if not its okay too because she has lived a great life.

Good thoughts for your grandma.

Spaghetti is what I fixed tonight

I have a whomping headache. I think it is from sitting in front of the computer until midnight last night and all day today while Princess was at school. I have e-mailed 2 EvilBay sellers with questions and neither has responded, so that is holding up my payments to them. I guess when they want their money I will hear back.

DH is making spaghetti for dinner. He bought a pie for dessert.

I got DH's statement for his WalMart card the other day and SURPRISE! we never paid it in August! I never did find the statement, either, so I have no idea what happened to it. It either got lost in the mail or misplaced by DH or our pet sitter (she brings in our mail when we're gone). I was NOT happy, but it's our fault so I can't protest the late fee.

I have noone to blame but me, me, me! Don't know why I didn't send the check on 8/31. The bill was due 9/4 and with the holiday I'm not sure it would have made it but it certainly didn't make it when I sent the check on the 19th.

Bernadette - I will be haivng pie with ice cream later. If DH had gotten coconut pie I could just eat pie, but he got apple, which requires ice cream.

Eating dinner took a little bit of the edge off the headache, but I might need an Advil.

I have a friend who is looking for a good fare to bring her son home for Thanksgiving, he would be traveling on the 21st and 25th of November, departing from Corpus Christi and arriving in Gulfport. We didn't have much luck finding a decent fare, got any ideas?

Deb, I'm loving the mickey lamp. I'd stick with the 6's globes for the ears like everyone's saying the 8' might be too big .. I'm thinking of doing one and picking up some of the printable cling paper ( my thought is to put an orange buld in the lamp .. and do black clings in the shapes of the jackolantern's teah and eyes .. not sure how well it will go .. that way i can just change the bulb after words and pull the cling off and maybe do something different for each holiday .. we'll see how electrically inclined I am .. maybe next week ..

Janet, I don't believe I've ever seen carrot cake done like that .. please don't tell me the filling is all icing ? OMG I think I need to see the dentist just looking at that picture .. let us know how ya make out with it lol

so today shortly after lunch , Butch comes home in a rotten mood snapping at everyone and not letting me in on the cause of the foul mood .. finally after snapping at everyone for a good 20 minutes he informs me that some how he ran out of gas on the way to work this morning ( mind you he just filled his tank on monday and has only driven it to work since then which is roughly 5 minles from home) so when that happened he took the store van and went to the gas station to get at least a few gallons to get it running again to go back to the gas station .. he gets back puts gas in the truck and it won't start .. ok so he does the charging/priming ( i forget what he called it.. he's the mechanic not me ) and nothing .. he does this a few more times and then the starter basically sticks on him and it keeps trying to turn over but not getting there he took the key out and it continued to do so on it's own .. so he had to get something to disconect the battery .. by the time he found something to loosen the cables the constant running of the starter and all had killes the battery .. so i went and picked him up form work and we dropped the battery off at his buddy's shop to be charged and they ran through a few ideas on would could have happened .. bottom line .. they think there's a problem with the wiring from the ingnition to the starter to the feul pump .... so on his day off fri i have a feeling he'll be working on his truck all day .. fun fun .. so much for him having M&M so i can just take RJ to the Dr's on fri .. that should be fun .. two kids screaming while the cast comes off lol i think i'll pick up a 20 pk of ear plugs for all the nurses in the office on fri ..

I've got all my mousekeeping envelopes done! (Thanks Debbie for all the wonderful designs). Some packing is started, and some laundry for the trip is folded and put in Zip-lock bags to be packed in the suitcase!

I only hope the weather holds out for us. It seems like it has rained, and rained, and rained every day in Florida for a week now! Maybe it will be out of it's system by the time we leave!

We still have our Mickey ponchos from last trip, so we will don those and have fun anyway!

Thanksgiving is a tough time to travel. Have you check Kayak.com? Another airport? In one airport, out another (two one ways?) Is he in the military? Sometimes they can get a military price - or go standby - and if he's in fatigues someone always seems to give up their seat for them...

so today shortly after lunch , Butch comes home in a rotten mood snapping at everyone and not letting me in on the cause of the foul mood .. finally after snapping at everyone for a good 20 minutes he informs me that some how he ran out of gas on the way to work this morning ( mind you he just filled his tank on monday and has only driven it to work since then which is roughly 5 minles from home) so when that happened he took the store van and went to the gas station to get at least a few gallons to get it running again to go back to the gas station .. he gets back puts gas in the truck and it won't start .. ok so he does the charging/priming ( i forget what he called it.. he's the mechanic not me ) and nothing .. he does this a few more times and then the starter basically sticks on him and it keeps trying to turn over but not getting there he took the key out and it continued to do so on it's own .. so he had to get something to disconect the battery .. by the time he found something to loosen the cables the constant running of the starter and all had killes the battery .. so i went and picked him up form work and we dropped the battery off at his buddy's shop to be charged and they ran through a few ideas on would could have happened .. bottom line .. they think there's a problem with the wiring from the ingnition to the starter to the feul pump .... so on his day off fri i have a feeling he'll be working on his truck all day .. fun fun .. so much for him having M&M so i can just take RJ to the Dr's on fri .. that should be fun .. two kids screaming while the cast comes off lol i think i'll pick up a 20 pk of ear plugs for all the nurses in the office on fri ..

Evening all...

Thanks for all the compliments on the pics. I'm sure you all are sick of seeing the girls by now.

Lucy's seat is a Bumbo and I'm pretty sure they just came out within the last year. It's supposed to help them develop "trunk" contol. She loves watching everything around her.

I swear I've read everything today but my brain is mush and I didn't remember to quote anything.

So here's a blanket of , 's and for everyone.

Eric, Lucy and I went shopping tonight to find clothes for her and some for Molly. We were also on the hunt for Ty's birthday present. I don't know what it is but nothing I and mean nothing appealed to me. I think it was the colors, they are just not cute. Carters had some but not in Lucy's size We hit Old Navy, Carter's, Osh Kosh, Children's Place and the Gymboree Outlet. There were a few things in Gymboree but Eric at the prices. So I may have to sneak back there. A great waste of 2 hours!

Tomorrow is school for Molly, volunteer orientation at Emma's school followed by Coffee with the Principal. And then by the time I pick Mo up from school my cousin should be here!

I possibly wont get back to Monday. After tomorrow we are jammed packed again til Sunday! Between soccer, gymnastics, more soccer, a birthday party and a visit from family I am going to collapse Sunday evening.

I've been thinking I should use my skymiles for my April/May trip with Emma. I tried to look it up last week but I didn't have my skymile # with me. I got an email from Delta today that my 75,606 sky miles will expire 12/31/07. I thought they should expire in 2008 but they changed the rules. AND it used to be 25,000 mile for a trip with skysaver ticket or 50,000 skychoice. Now they want 45,000 for skysaver trip to MCO. I suppose I could get one free trip and pay the $240 for the other one. $240 wouldn't be bad for 2 RT tickets but Delta seems so unstable lately. Always changing their schedule. Jet Blue only has their schedule out til 2/29/08 so it would be a long while before I could book them. I could purchase 1,000 for $27.50 plus federal tax which would extend the expire date on my miles.

I guess I need to make a decision on this soon.....and that means pick my dates.

my grandmother has a uti and is dehydrated so they are keeping her. since she is 90 they like to keep them till it is cleared up. also she told the doctor that she was bleeding when she goes to the bathroom so they are going to do a colonoscopy. sorry if thats to much information. just giving ya'll an update.

When I first read that I pictured you not eating dinner-just the entire pie by yourself. Now I understand that you wouldn't need icecream on a coconut pie.
