Tammi, this makes me think about sending those home with my preschoolers. I did write on the first note that no one should feel obligated to order. We do get "points" to use on books for the classroom, but I send them out more as a convenience to the parents that want to pick up some books. There are usually at least a couple at a very good price through the flyers.
How should I word the next note? I really don't want parents to feel guilty if they choose not to order.
Also, I just found out that there is a "service charge" if we have an order but our total order is under $20. I'm guessing that the school will make me responsible for that, so if people don't seem to be ordering much, I may just stop sending the flyers home.
I love buying from Scholastic!! and probably will sneek down to the preschool area at work sometime to buy from them. When Abi or Cassidy brought them home I usually set a spending limit....but I

When sending the next flyer home say that if there isn't much interest in ordering you won't send them home anymore. It's a teachers choice whether they want to send them home or not just like it's the parents choice whether to buy not, or the kids as Abi really wanted a couple of books on the last one last school year so she paid for them.
