We were 80 on Friday 75 yesterday...maybe 70 today and tomorrow we may hit 50.....ahhhhh Colorado weather!!

Jen -- I thought about you when I drove past the stadium this morning on the way to the airport. They already had security at all of the entrances, and it was only 9:30 a.m.!!!

Hi everyone-
I am home from watching the game at my brother's girlfrend's house--we had a good time, but we were all exhausted so am watching the rest of it at home--in my pjs!

Its going to be a crazy week and id love to go to bed early but its not going to happen! Tomorrow starts my diet/exerciise program..plus we start having a very challenging student tomorrow...so i cant wait toget this week started!!!

Where is everyone tonight? I have some time to chat and no one is here. I was surprised when there were so few pages to catch up on. I am leaving very early tomorrow morning to head downstate. It will be a very busy couple of weeks for me. Don't know when I'll have time to get online to chat. I also won't be home next week-end because I'll be on a project. Have a great week people!

I am here...kind of. Doing laundry....it's been two weeks since it's been all done which means it's been 2 weeks since any of my clothes have been done.


We had the door to the laundry cubbyfall off....it cracked so we had to take both doors off the "room". While it makes the kitchen look bigger we need to get new doors....the joys of home ownership.

Deb/Chris the Jimmy is not shifting right. Gary has to manually shift it. When it acts up the speedometer does not work either. They said it was a sensor & put a new one in, but apparently that was not the problem or was only part of the problem. I'm scared to hear what they say when they call.

Chris has thought about it but he has no idea of what it could be. He's never seen or heard of such an issue.

This is a fly by post as I need to get to bed. I had a busy day today. I spent the morning putting costumes together and making a list of what I need for the costumes and for our creepy culinary creations for Saturday's meal. The I was off to the stores and it only took me 6 hours to shop Our LLBean had a great clearance sale so I picked up a few things there. I also hit the fabric store which always takes me a great deal of time. After browsing Kohl's and hitting a few other stores where I bought nothing I went grocery shopping. I got home and made a quick dinner then Started on the camping preparations. It rained here all day. The good news is that I finished sewing all of the costumes and they are all together. I'll have to post pictures after next weekend as I didn't bother with any makeup. I'm glad to have them done. I also spent time hot gluing little plastic ants, flies and spider to clear plastic cups. We will use them as containers for our "dirt" dessert and for the punch. I think this will be fun.

Chris and I are wondering what people are planning to wear in October. Are you planning just shorts and t-shirts or maybe collared, polo type shirts with shorts. Is anyone dressing up a bit for Pleasure Island? We are beginning to think about our wardrobes and how to pack with just carryons.

Deb - to answer your question about attire....I will probably wear shorts and tops the whole week. For MNSSHP it'll prob. be a tank or fitted tee. If we do PI, the most you'll get out of me is a skort, top and sandals.

For the October trip I plan on wearing shorts, t-shirts & tank tops. I will probably bring a couple extra tops for a night out. Nothing to fancy for me I was just thinking last night, I need to start making a packing list
