Oh, I never answered you about May! Sorry! I would go and probably bring DS. DH's days off don't fall right for him to come along. I would want to arrive the night of April 30. DS would miss 2 days of school, but hopefully it wouldn't hurt anything. There again, I don't have any vacation time until the end of June (I'm using my last couple of days for Dec.) unless I travel when my bosses are gone. IF I can get 2 days off and IF I can get spots at the pin event that would be a nice time to go.

From what I can tell from the reports on the AKL thread, if you book carefully there is little or no impact at all. That is one reason we upped our room reservation to a Pool view since that should not be affected at all.

Eh, we're never in the room anyway. All they have left is standard.

Deb/Chris the Jimmy is not shifting right. Gary has to manually shift it. When it acts up the speedometer does not work either. They said it was a sensor & put a new one in, but apparently that was not the problem or was only part of the problem. I'm scared to hear what they say when they call.

she hasn't tried any of the generic ones we have laying around....I'll tell you if she does!! I'm trying to keep out of it because it's "hers" and she isn't listening to me real well right now.

It is 82 here now. Felt nice out earlier, but I just turned our air back on. Hard to sleep when I am hot.

Weather.com says 62 at my office, 61 at my house and 80 in Orlando. Your hotter than Orlando.

Did I tell you guys how nice & quiet it is here? I think I'm the only one other than security. I guess I really have to go home now as I'm not getting any more work done.

We were 80 on Friday 75 yesterday...maybe 70 today and tomorrow we may hit 50.....ahhhhh Colorado weather!!

Now my December ressie really IS messed up! That girl I talked to earlier not only added a night on the front, but on the back, too! She had us there 12/11-12/17!

I was all set to cancel the Pop ressie outright and change to AKL. Well, OF COURSE they can't book AKL over the phone! But this CM was able to modify the Pop ressie down to the correct dates. But now the Pop ressie is showing a balance due of $40 by tomorrow. What is THAT? I paid for the original ressie when I made it, I paid again for the Pop ressie I made online, I paid for the October ressie, and now I paid for AKL. I have paid FOUR deposits and I now have TWO ressies for the exact same dates in December, one at Pop (showing a balance due) and one at AKL. I need to call back tomorrow and cancel the Pop one after I make sure the AKL one is as it should be. It is going to be a huge problem to track whether or not I have gotten all of my deposits back because I can't remember if I paid for them with the debit or credit card. I need to do some research.

All together now: "Should have left that ressie alone!"

My car said it was 62 at my office and the entire ride home-even when I pulled into my street but as I was about to shut off the car I looked up again and it was 61.



My actual office was about 79 so I was glad I was in shorts.

BTW, I was thinking of you (and Tammi! ) watching the Steelers v. Browns game today. The Steelers looked moderately decent, but what a confidence builder to start the season! I'm glad Ben is back to himself this year!

My first thought on what to charge her was $800, since she was planning on paying it anyway! How much time did you spend working on it with her? That's what I would use to gage a fee.

I'm on just about everything under the sun at this point!

We'll see. I sent her an e-mail last night with the information on how she could save $$ on her reservation in a couple of weeks, and told her if she wants help into next year (more serious than just a passing question), I will need to be paid for my time. (I'm thinking she could be very high maintenance.) I haven't gotten a response yet, so we'll see!

I am debating buying an iPod. Do any of you have one? Do you have the Shuffle or a larger one and why? Do you like having the window to see what is playing or don't you care?

I have a 30gb video iPod, and have had it for about 18 mos. Prior to this one, I had a 40gb regular iPod (can't remember the generations), but that one lasted barely a year, and I didn't buy the extended warranty. They wanted to charge almost as much to fix it as it cost to buy a new one. Needless to say, I bought the extended warranty on the one I have now. I do not view a product that worth several hundred $$ as disposable!

That being said, I do love the iPod and its technology, and I like the bright, clear screen of the video ones. I have one TV episode on there, but mainly it's just music and podcasts (I am a Disney podcast junkie!). I use mine every day - listen to it to/from work, plus I have a player in my office as well as here at home that I run it through. It is wonderful having all that music at your fingertips!

The only thing that is difficult for me is that my 30gb is almost full.
