The DDA Trouble Free Zone Part 29

We've been to 3 PO this morning. The first 2 had no idea what I was talking about when I said clearance. "they hadn't received and email". I went to our home post office who had told me about he sale and she showed me the 40 page email that she had printed. She said the other offices just don't read their mail. The pins are $.99, but it is only the pins on blue cards, the pink cards are this years version and are not on sale. Some of the prints, magnets, bags and post cards are also on sale. I bought a pack of Mickey post cards that were originally $5.99 for $1.99. So I managed to buy 5 pins and my Mother has bought 8 so far, but she's still out hunting.

My second load of laundry is done and I am headed outside to mow the lawn before it gets too hot.

Bob is in PA this weekend. He missed his father's 90th birthday late last month because of a project deadline at work. He had planned to go this weekend anyway, but we are very glad he went.

His Mom had emergency surgery on Thursday. She has had a recurrence of her colon cancer and has to have a section of the colon removed and a colosotmy done. Things are not particularly good on his homefront, so good thoughts winging their way to PA would be most welcome. Thanks.

I didn't mention that I had already made spaghetti sauce and froze it. And after cleaning the bathrooms, I made cinnamon strudel muffins. (All before 9:30)

Heidi, I don't know how you can even think about cleaning this early in the morning. I have only had one cup of coffee. I can't even tackle getting in the shower yet, let alone cleaning something!

I know that Vt and NH are both included. The Postmaster made it sound nationwide but I guess that I don't know for sure. My mother went to our regional mail center and they said they didn't know about it, but when they scanned the pins they rang up $.99.

Mom has a hernia, doctor ordered a scope of her stomach. They found and removed 3 polyps, now we sit and wait. She had a sister who died of stomach cancer.

Anne Marie I love your photopass pictures! The group photo of the DDA is awesome & your DD's are so pretty

Just a little FYI for all you guys.....if you tell the photographer before they take the photos they can easily add the photos to more than 1 card.

Did everything get resolved with your photopass?

I am just waiting to see if they will respond to my inquiry about a few pictures that I think are missing. It won't be a big deal if they can't find them but I figured I'd wait til maybe Tuesday before I order my CD.

I thought I had more Fantasmic pics, but this is the only one I can find at the moment.

I can't believe we only have 39 days left My order arrived from J C Penny's yesterday & I have to return 2 pairs oh the shorts, they are way to short for my liking I am going to start stressing if I do not find more shorts before our trip!

I finally had good luck at the Eddie Bauer outlet-they had a style that worked for me that wasn't online. Do you have an outlet near you?
