I just got a call from an old high school friend. He is in town for a wedding. When I asked him about his social life he told me that he can't seem to find himself a man, but he's still looking. This was his latest prospect, but they enjoy hanging out together too much so now they are just best buddies. Anyone recognize him?

I may see my friend later tonight as he says he is coming to the restaurant for dinner. I guess I'll have to find out who else he is "hanging" out with.

Ughh I can't find the cape for Colby's costume or the Dracula medallion. Where could they have gone? I've gone through all of our halloween stuff twice and still nada. You know that as soon as I make a new one the old one will show up.

I have no job stress (anymore) so I am drinking my water. I find it works pretty well to wash down this enormous M&M cookie.

I finally found the cape and medallion...in the top of Hunter's closet I guess it's been there for the last 5 years. Now I remember seeing it.

So Colby should be all set once we drag the coffin out. I need to make something to top off Hunter's pirate boots to make them look more like Captain Jack's though he isn't Captain Jack.

Maybe tomorrow I'll get the ambishion to dig out the monster costume for Nick. I should pack the camper on Sunday since I will have no time next week to do so.

So why has it been so quiet on here today. Are you all working or something

I was just reading the thread on TPAS about the "moms panel". Apparently they have removed the part about the first 5000 applications. Not sure what that means, exactly.

I got one last night, but nothing for Orlando. I could go to KC for $45, but coming back was going to be like $170 which defeats my whole purpose of going to KC first. The flights on Sunday are just full, or they leave at 6 AM! Call me silly, but I don't want to be on Magical Express at 3AM!

Princess met her teachers today. There are 9 kids in her class. She is supposed to nap at school from 12:15-1:45 but I am not sure how that will go. She is one of these who if she sleeps for 5 minutes and wakes up then she is DONE - no more nap. She is awake right now but I am hoping she might go back to sleep. She was only asleep for an hour. She sounds like she is still tired. Unfortunately they have a mail slot, and right when I thought she was going to go back to sleep the mailman dropped a TON of stuff through the slot and made an enormous crash. Nope. She's getting mad, not going back to sleep.

Riley did not get a detention, but the teacher wrote a note in his agenda. It said that he did not pay attention very well in class. Riley said she wrote that because he did not finish his assignment in class. Well maybe if he was paying attention, he would have been able to finish the assignment in class. Just a thought, but what do I know

I am taking Mia to the vet today. I had an appointment for Monday, but I think she has a infection in her eyes & I do not want to chance my other cats getting it. So I called this morning & they squeezed her in. Hopefully we won't be waiting forever! She is so playful & is doing pretty good coming around us & not hiding. Our other 2 cats, they are staying away from her. I hope this doesn't last long.

well, we made it through the Dr's better then i thought they have their own imaging center in their office. so we just walked across the waiting room. They did not remove his cast they did the x-ray through it .. and he said that everything looks good, good placement and growth.. so we go back in another 2 weeks and they will take the cast off then , do the x-rays and then either put a shorter cast or the walking cast on him .. here he is the day he got the cast

here's at the 2 week mark .. up till now he didn't want anyone to sign his cast" that would make it dirty"
