Chanon - I have tried every combination of search terms I can think of and still no luck!:confused3 You can always post the pic either here on the "collectors" board or on Dizpins and ask if anyone else can find it. What does it say on the back? Sometimes I put the year in when I search.

Thanks, Bernadette. I still have to wash my shirt so I know I can't do it yet. But Bob's is ready to go. I like your thinking about being in the right frame of mind before tackling that project. If I screw something up that will just wind me up tighter!!!
Sometimes I find the right music helps me improve my mood-but it's not always the same thing. I just downloaded Disney Freak from iTunes-its pretty funny. Last week it was the B52's Love Shack that pulled me out of my mood. Sometimes I just need to be cranky for a while.

Could they be with your Christmas tree? ;)
That's what I was gonna say.:lmao: Maybe its with my sunglass clips. :rotfl:

They had those at Lowes but I didn't even look at them. I figured I would be better off with another Maytag.....

Lowe's is where they bought theirs. If you have domestic employees to do your laundry then I suppose it is a fine washer. If you have to deal with it yourself it is NOT a fine washer.

We have a Whirlpool. When it was a few months old DH dropped the iron into the washer and a HUGE piece chipped off of the inside of the tub. So I called and they replaced it. I didn't tell them about the iron, I just said it was chipped.:rolleyes1 About a year after that the tub started rusting around the drain holes. I called to have it replaced again and they said only the part is covered - I have to pay the service call and labor because the washer is over 1 year old.:headache: So now we just make sure we grab the clothes out as soon as the washer stops so they don't get rusty.

So last weekend the lady below us moved out. But some of her things were still there - her welcome mat, some plants, etc. I thought that was kind of funny. Then I noticed it looked like she left some books on a desk in front of her window. DH said the maintenance guys were in there all week painting and carpeting and whatever, and I said maybe she is just having work done. DH said there is NO WAY she would pack up and move out just to turn around and move back in. Well, I win! Those guys are out there right this minute moving all of her stuff back in. Up the stairs, around the corner, across the front balcony, down the stairs to her apartment.

Our carpet needs to be stretched but I would rather live with the lumpy carpet than pack up our stuff so they can fix it!:scared: I guess she got all new paint, carpet, appliances, etc. We got new flooring & fixtures in the kitchen & bathrooms last year, and new appliances. We opted not to have the counters replaced or have anything painted because it's just too disruptive. I guess it's no different to pack and move in and out of the same apartment than it would be to pack and move to another one!:rotfl2:

Elizabeth - What do I do if I can't find a pin on PinPics? I feel like I've been searching for hours and I can't find this one tinkerbell that I have... Instead of searching through the groups is there a better way to search under name?
ETA: Here's a pic of mine...possible it's not in there?? It has to be! (Too many Tinks!!!)

look at pin 13626. You probably didn't recognize it as you don't have it on the card. I knew I had seen it before as it's in my collection :rotfl2:
Take care, Penny
I did a Tink search as that combines both Tinkerbell and Tinker Bell.

I think it has to do with too much dealings with xh the past few days. Oh well, the kids will be home soon and then I won't have to see him for 2 more weeks! :yay:

There you go! A silver lining!! :goodvibes

Could they be with your Christmas tree? ;)

I don't think so... I just found them in with the certificates I use to print state VFMC certificates! There was no tree in there, unfortunately. :confused3

Thanks!!! I was about to respond to Elizabeth with "It says The Disney Club" on the back! And it was probably because of the backing that I missed it. I received it on my Disney Cruise from the sales manager upon completion of our FAM...and these pins probably come out of a bag inside a bag from a box in a warehouse... :rotfl:

Where can I begin to tell you all how very proud of my daughter I am? She has studied and honed her craft well this past year and it showed last night bright and clear. The entire ensemble cast, the set and lighting design, the direction and the writing were all beyond spectacular. But my daughter, the Actor, was resplendent.

Within the span of 80 minutes or so, Kristin portrayed four vastly different characters. When we entered the theater she was seated in the audience, in full makeup and costume. Just sitting there staring off into space. She did that for 35 minutes until the play opened. Her first character was a spoiled Tidewater teenager complaining about the uncomfortable seats in the theater, and imploring those of us in attendance with her to rise up and shift in our seats so her movements and the resulting squeaking and screeching would not be so obvious.

Her second entrance was as that of a child, I would think about age 5 or 6, with a completely different voice, talking about letting go of her mother's hand as they tried to escape the flames. The child's mother had made her dress for the evening and had become exasperated trying to do the final fitting, telling the child that she would just have to grow into the dress. Kristin's last line as that character was, "Never had the chance."

Next she was an older, more refined survivor of the fire, comparing the flavors of every succulent dessert imaginable to the sweet smell of fresh air when she finally got out of the theater. And finally, another survivor who described the escape of a family of pigeons from the collapsing roof, only to watch their wings catch fire and then burn and fall at her feet.

Each character had a slightly different Tidewater dialect and tone color, dependent upon the age and education of the character. I was stunned. Last night showed me that she is right where she belongs. No matter what her future holds she will be happy on the stage and that makes this mother very proud.

You should be proud, Elin! The way you talk about the production makes me want to see it! I hope that one day, soon, I get to see Kristin in action!!!

Get going on this stuff so you can come back and chat with us some more, Becky!!!

Big issue is I don't know where to go with it. I need to get rid of clothing and other things. I have a room that is a disaster and need a bunch of time to get back into a neat and orderly fashion. I haven't had that time. But I need to start chipping away at it.

I've actually spent a bit of time on the computer, working on uploading pictures, scanning stuff from my trip. If I could have kept myself away from the computer I might have accomplished a lot.

Now I wanna watch Extreme Makeover Home Edition, Desperate Housewives, and Brothers and Sisters. I have the suitcases in front of me so I will hopefully work on it.

Glad it was the right one. I have over 1,000 pins and I try and keep them all listed on pinpics. Sometimes it is so, so hard to find the pin you are looking for. :confused3 Take care, Penny

Yay for Penny!:cheer2: I figured someone would be able to find it. I don't think I have ever seen a pin that NOBODY could find. Well, I take that back. There was a vampire pin from Nightmare that somebody posted and nobody could find it on PinPics. It was apparently part of a series and some of the other pins were listed but not that one.

The apartment I lived in during college, needed new carpet before I moved in. Did they install it before I moved in. Nope, they waited till all 4 of us were well established and living there almost a year when they finally decided to install new carpet. We ended up sticking stuff on the balcony and loading up our bathrooms, laundry room, and kitchen with all of our stuff. We could leave beds, dressers, desks, anything big on the carpeted area. They installed the carpet in a day and we had to put everything back ourself. Talk about a pain. It was almost the end of the semester and definitely not an ideal time to get the new carpet.

Did you find my sunglass clips? I know I put them in a safe place and that sounds like a safe place.

Oh, Tammi? Did you see what Penny posted? She has TWICE as many pins as my whole family. NOW who is the Crazy Disney Pin Lady?:rotfl2:

Penny, what is your PinPics ID? I am nanny993, DH is TheChipMan and DS is baseballboy. I have most of our collections on PinPics, but I am missing some of DS's.

Actually I do have one that's not listed! It's one from the TA website that they gave out during the 100 Years of Magic. It looks like a castmember's name tag, but says "Disney Fan" and at the bottom instead of the city, it says "Goofy", which was for favorite memory/character. There are three on the site like this, but none that say Goofy. I'd post a pic, but it's scratched so much from me wearing it to the parks.

no, I am sorry to say, Bernadette! There were no sunglass clips on my bookshelf!
