I'm glad you did not wait any longer! that you are feeling 100% soon(you have to better by 29 days ).

I'm back from the doctors and I have a very bad UTI. I'm sure that if I hadn't waited weeks to go to the doctors it would have been not so bad So I'm on an antibiotic and a pain med. Things should be back to normal in a few days. In the meantime I have to work and more importantly I need a nap. TTYL

I am working on making a Mickey Lamp Post for our camper/deck. I finally got up the courage to cut the holes. My question is do the ears look too small? These are 6" which is what was posted in the instructions, but to me they see a bit small on the 12" head. Should I try to find 8" globes or just go with what I've got? I still need to make at least 2 more so I need them to all be uniform. Ignore the tape in the picture as I was just putting the ears on temporarily.

I think it looks great with the 6" globes! Can't wait to see the finished product!

I think there might be a limit as to how many pictures you can have in your account and still have the website work ok for you. I started with 369 photos and added multiple borders to the photos and sometimes cropped the photos and added borders again. I ended up with 1,369 photos and I was definately pushing the limits of the photopass website. I was getting lots of error messages and it was taking forever to save a new photo. I tried at home and my office so it wasn't just a problem with say my Mac at home using Safari as I was having the same issues with my PC at work using Explorer.

This is great to know. Hopefully we won't end up with quite that many, but it's nice to know that you can get that many photos if necessary. I was originally under the impression that you could only get 300, and just on one disk.

So I can see the first Osborne lights on the last night of my trip with Lizzy and the last night of Osborne lights with Joe.

I got DH's statement for his WalMart card the other day and SURPRISE! we never paid it in August! I never did find the statement, either, so I have no idea what happened to it. It either got lost in the mail or misplaced by DH or our pet sitter (she brings in our mail when we're gone). I was NOT happy, but it's our fault so I can't protest the late fee.

Ugh, not fun for either you or Bernadette. That's why I love online banking! We use Bank of America, and have been paying my bills online through them for probably going on 3 or 4 years now. It works like a dream, and there are never worries any longer about a payment making it in time, or missing a statement in the mail. (I still have the statements delivered to my house, but I keep an eye on my typical monthly payees, and if I haven't had a payment go out that month, I know to look for it.)

For those going to MNSSHP on the 18th, will you be wearing the design Anne Marie posted or something else?

I need some pixie dust and prayers please. we just got a phone call from my grandmothers retirement home that she was taken to the hospital. she said she was hearing voices and was feeling weak so they sent her just for safety and to get her checked out. she is 90. just the other day she told my dad i dont wanna live to 100 but i'm not ready to go either. her mom lived to 103. so hopefully she is okay and will live 10 more years if not its okay too because she has lived a great life.

Thanks! I saw that yesterday, and meant to post, too, but you beat me to it. I wasn't able to call until this a.m., but I got a 9 p.m. slot on 12/1. I may ultimately decide not to do it, though - I really wanted 11/29 or 11/30, as that fits best with our schedule. We might decide that ultimately the other things we'll be doing are better for us, and not worth trying to juggle around. I wonder why in the world they're not starting these until 12/1?

my grandmother has a uti and is dehydrated so they are keeping her. since she is 90 they like to keep them till it is cleared up. also she told the doctor that she was bleeding when she goes to the bathroom so they are going to do a colonoscopy. sorry if thats to much information. just giving ya'll an update.

I have a statement from Delta that says my miles don't expire til 12/31/08. How can they change the terms? Especially when most of the miles were earned with a credit card that I had to pay an annual fee for. I think I'll have to call them!

Good luck sorting that out! I have enough AA miles for a ticket BUT they don't have any "miles" tickets on any days I would fly!

Good morning all. It seems that the bad dreams are running rampant. Last night was the first dreamless or is it night "mirror"less sleep that I've had in 3 sleeps. Between the nightmares, aches and pains and a few other things I'm pretty sure that the urinary issues that I noticed last week haven't cleared up. I suspect some sort of underlying infection is causing me to be "off" I'm headed to see my doctor at 11 this morning. Hopefully it will be a quick fix with no more bills as the ones from last fall are still with us

I am enjoying all the Disney photos this morning. It is nice to log onto my happy place.

I know what you mean about the back to school stuff. Shane's had so much homework already and all he talks about is the SOL's and doing good on them. I don't know if it's because he's in the focus group or if all 3rd graders are doing this work, but he is totally not prepared for the writing aspects of this class. He had to write five sentences last night using the 5 w's and was so frustrated. His teacher is not sending home instructions either so it's hard for me to help him because I don't want to contradict what the teacher says. Last year, he was barely required to write sentences and certainly not to this level. Now, he should definitely learn how to do this (and it was one of my concerns if you remember) but he's really not prepared.

I'll probably see you at Open House. I'll probably go around 6:30 or so.

I feel your pain! DS is finally getting into the groove, but I am sure we'll have more bumps ahead.

Whew, we've been so busy here. I have something every night this week. Hopefully next week will slow down a bit. My friend Suzanne's getting married on Saturday and Stephanie's the flower girl, so I've made her dress, helped Suzanne with some embroidered gifts, will help decorate, etc. tomorrow/rehearsal/dinner, plus we've had doctors' appts, haircuts, soccer, etc....I'm tired! LOL

Unfortunately SW doesn't do that. There's no fee, but you'd have to pay the difference in fare. Now that's dumb in my opinon!

One of these meds has me in fast forward. I would swear that I'm shaking, but I'm not. This is not a good feeling. She started me on an anti anxiety med as well as the meds for the infection and she said that it gives some people extra energy and others get sleepy. I guess I got the extra energy. I just hope that I slow down before bed time or I won't be able to sleep. She said that I need to take it for at least 5 days to allow my body time to adjust before I give up on it. The med is just a precaution as we still don't know what caused my back pain last year. If it was stress related then I wanted to nip it in the bud before the holidays this year. I swear I feel like the energizer bunny right now

I heard about it on the news last night - I like this change. I really didn't want to see them go to assigned seating - if it's not broke, why fix it?

Someone asked me today "who are you going to Disney with? Friends of family?" My response: Their both!

Tammi- that is a wonderful poem. I hope you know that there are a bunch of ladies (and gentlemen) who love you and know the work, blood, sweat and tears that you put into your children's lives.

I will tell you from personal experience that it you will become visible to your kids and dad won't always be the hero. Some kids take a little longer (my sister didn't realize it until about 2 years ago ) but they do come around.

You are doing a bang up job!!!
