That is something that we've never seen, It is definitely on my to do list for this trip :thumbsup2 I must also try schoolbread. Chris thinks he should try to drink his way around the world, but since he really never drinks I think he'll need to do this gradually :faint: :drinking1 :faint:

DisneyQuest is a huge TO DO for all 4 of my boys :lmao:

Deb,

Tell Chris I will definately try to do this for him!!!!!!!!:lmao: :lmao:

We got back from the shower about an hour ago and this was Lucy's big gift:

pTRU1-3488147dt.jpg

She also got some goodies that were tucked away inside, diapers, bottles, a blanket, some bibs and a few other things I can't remember right now.

It was really nice of them. There are about 6 or 7 people in his section that went in together along with a few co-workers from the finance section. Sherae, the boy's grandma, was the one who organized it and made sure they got us something we would use. The shower/party itself was just a little crazy. Eric is in so many words a computer geek and so are all the guys he works with. It's just funny to see all them trying to act all excited over baby stuff! The 3 kids had a ball though and loved showing off.

I am off now to go get the kids up from their short naps! Talk to you all later!

What a great gift, it's hard to believe it's almost time for Lucy's arrival!

Janet, I love your new signature.

Thank you, I could not think of her name!

The 1st time we seen her, we came in about 1/2 way through her show. So we found out what time she would be back & arrived early. The boys were right up front & both had a candy animal made. Garrett had a dragon & Riley had a whale, I think.

Love to listen to her talk, very funny(what she says):rotfl:

Piggy piggy....Jonathan and I always laugh when thinking about that. She is very entertaining, and so talented! :thumbsup2

Are her times posted somewhere? I know the kids will love it, me included:love:

Check out Steve Soares' site: http://pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/index.htm. She's also listed on the Epcot Times Guide.

I am reading a biography on Walt Disney.

Walt Disney
The Triumph Of The American Imagination,
by Neal Gabler.

To say it is a huge book is an understatement, it may take a while to read. But it is very good and he leaves nothing out.

I'm glad to hear that it is good. Phil got that one for me for Christmas and I haven't started it yet. I'll have to dig it out soon.

I went & bought the season passes for swimming, so that is where the boys are now. I would have loved to stay myself, but not today. I am finally making headway with the laundry lol

I did get to see the girl that has been calling Garrett & she is a cutie! I hate that a 13 yo looks better in a bathing suit than me though :rotfl: I can remember when Garrett thought girls were yucky, apparently not anymore!

Good luck with the whole girlfriend scene. It's something I'm definitely not looking forward too. Although Emma already has her "marrying man"

Eric so wants to do the drink around the world. I think he would get stuck in Germany, though! Can you also tell me the dates of the summer trip next year?

Very nice!

Thanks!!

Is that a jungle theme? What is the theme of her room going to be?

It's a rainforest theme. Her room is going to be Snow White. But the pack and play doubles as a bassinet which will be in our room. I just thought it was cute.

Thanks, Debbie! Apparently after I left they were placing bets on when I would deliver and most of them said within the next 2 weeks. :scared1:  :scared1: Sherae, the grandma/coworker, thinks I've popped out in the last few days.

I went & picked the boys up, the clouds rolled in, & it poured. Just called & all games for tonight have been canceled. Boy the weather is fickle, you just never know lol

Yeah! I made it to the grocery store. I only ended up with 2 extras today as apparently Kassie was not fit for company. I guess that she had been so crabby all morning that Kristi decided to just take her along rather than have me have to deal with her and the other 3. So, Rachel watched a sleeping Connor while I got to the store. We now have food.

Apparently, if I actually get off of my rear things get done. :confused3 Can you imagine? :confused3 :confused3 I've managed to wash and change the sheets on two beds, wash a load of clothes, clean out the fridge, wash dishesm clean two bathrooms, and give Terra a bath. Most of that was before 10:30. I came down to get something to eat thinking that it was almost noon and realized that it was barely 10am. I'll have to keep this up and see what else I can accomplish in the coming days.

Good morning...Can somebody tell me where this week has gone? I've tried keeping up by reading along but think I've missed some pages. Sending out 's, :cheer2: and :wizard: to everyone.

Emma and I went on her school field trip yesterday to the zoo. I have no idea what possessed me to agree to chaperon. It was about 88 degrees and very sunny. And the zoo is all on a hill. Needless to say, we were both exhausted. We skipped our last soccer practice as I just didn't think Emma could handle it. We also had planned to go to her school's performance of the Wizard of Oz. Well we got up to school at 6:50pm, (it started at 7pm) but apparently is was canceled! No notices or anything in Emma's backpack so I wasn't very happy. Neither was Molly, it is her obsession right now.

Anyway, today Molly and the 2 little boys, their grandma works with Eric, I watch are headed to Eric's work as they are throwing him a baby shower. He ha He has no idea so it should be fun.

I hope everyone has a great day. I need to get the girls moving!! Talk to you later.

Hope the baby shower goes well.

Our school calendar is up & even though it is over a year away, I know when we will be going to Disney next year! The boys will have a 4 day weekend in Oct. I figure this way they will only miss a couple days of school & we will be able to go to MNSSHP :cheer2:

Nothing like planning ahead lol

Thanks!

Laura's team did have a great season. We were hoping for Nationals, but it just wasn't in the cards this year. Some members of the younger team that made Nationals are being a little snotty, but I guess that is just because they are young (not sure what the coaches excuse is ;) ). It would have been nice, since Nationals are so close to us this year. Next year they are in Tucson. I would love to go there, but I can't imagine how we would swing it financially. Especially since I'm working on that whole trip out west for July, 2008.
It's a shame that the coach can't display good sportmanship as an example for the kids. :cheer2: for Laura for a good season.

Funny I just sat down to relax when the school called Caleb got something wrong with his eye and it's all bloodshot and hurts so I'm off to call the Dr. while DH picks him up from school (as he had the car to go to the office today). Everyone have a fun afternnon.:goodvibes

We got some nice news from OK yesterday. At the local school district's annual luncheon, they honored my grandma posthumously with a Lifetime Acheivement in Teaching award. A good friend of hers did the presentation.

It also appears that they have a contract on her house. It sounds like just the family my grandma would have wanted living there. It is a mother and a 21-month old (don't know if there is a father on the home as well. At the end of March, they lost their other two children (5 and 3) and home in a house fire. I guess the Mom grabbed the baby and yelled for the others to get out. They apparently hid thinking they were in trouble or something. The mom ran out with the baby and turned around to go back in to find the door had locked behind her. Since they are starting over bascially, the family has asked that we leave anything that we don't want or sell for them to start their new home with.

Mom, Terra and I will head to OK June 22 to help finish preparing the house for the new owners and with the estate sale.

How tragic for the family. I can't even imagine.

Does she sell her creations?

Miyuki, the candy lady, is very cool! :thumbsup2 If you get there about 15 minutes before her show and are up front, you'll have a good chance of having a candy animal made for you.
