Hi all,
Hope all is well with you all.
We have been rather busy. I have been taking classes for my Real Estate license so I can be a loan officer. I fifgure I want my cake and eat it too with a job so this is one that will work that way. I have two classes down and one to go before the state exam.

Elizabeth has been at a lot of Dr. appts with her lack of growth. So far all is clear but they are not happy with her growth. She has a few more tests to do and then I think I will call it quits for a while. She has been poked more times than a child should. One of her big tests yet to be done is an L Dopa test (IV for two hours or more with them giving her growth hormone during this) and then she has the CF test we can't seem to clear.

Gabrielle is doing great and had a fabulous month at school. She recieved her bile for memorizing 26 bible verses (A-Z) and was she a proud girl. She is ready for swim class and can't wait for our trip to DL in Nov.

Mark has been so very busy with work. It's one little trip after another, then he is the 1st Sgt as well (this means he is the guy they go to when someone is in trouble or has an emergency). He carries a blackberry (sp) with him all the time now (can't wait for that to go away) and I tell ya he seems to always be doing something with work. This past Sat he had to find a member who was deployed and get him home because his son drowned. That is part of the job he so dislikes, the sad stuff just sucks. He does get to go to a lot of cool lunches with many big wigs. I guess that's good.

Other than that we are normal day stuff.

Chat with you all again soon.

Hi Paula.
Long time no see.

Here are a couple of pictures of the play center that I put together for Leighanna.

The instructions said that it should only take 3 hours to complete with two adults. I guess with 3 adults and 1 child the time frame is 13 hours!:rotfl:

Wow looks like a lot of fun.
By the way the yard looks great.
You have GREEN GRASS.
Not an easy task.

Paula, nice to see you. Hope they find a solution for Elizabeth soon.

Bernadette- I so wish I was at WDW. I wanna go and now and I have no trips to WDW planned.

I have been reading along on the live Mediterranean repositioning cruise and I so wish I was on the Magic right now. September can't get here soon enough.

Sending good thoughts to everyone.

When DH took Arabella to the vet today he also picked up Amanda's ashes. They are in a little cedar box with her name engraved on a metal tag on the top. It looks very nice. We just need to decide where we want to keep the box. Right now it is on my desk, but that's not where it will stay.

Hi Paula. Good to see you. I have to tell you, I was wondering who Elizabeth and Gabrielle were. It took a few minutes and then I realized. Time to use their grown-up names, huh? Congrats to Gabrielle and you too, for all your work you are doing. I hope Elizabeth's tests are done soon. Poor little thing. Stop in when you can. We miss you!

Looks great, Tom! I bet Leighanna loves it.

I had the roasted beet and goat cheese salad which I really enjoyed.
I love this. It's what I always get.

I'm loving all of your pictures. I have decided that I just must not have a steady hand. No matter what I do, they never come out as crisp as all the photos everyone posts here.

I bet you are glad to have her home. :grouphug:

Well, I finally got Nicholas riding a two-wheeler tonight. He is doing good on the riding, it's just getting started and turning around that he still needs help with, but at least he is balancing. The rest will come with practice. Now I guess I have to follow through and keep my promise to get him a new bike. The one he has is a bit too small and I told him once he learned how to ride I would get him a new one. Guess what we will be doing this weekend.

Here are some pictures of the front yard. These are not as fantastic as Bernadette's, but I guess they will have to do!

(Sorry about the glare!, the sun was at just the wrong angle when I took this)

The walkway up to the front porch:

Leighanna's garden around the smallest tree in the front yard:
(She helped plant every one of these flowers, and it is her responsibility to water and weed this area)

Tom - your landscaping is just beautiful!

Tammi - It is good to have her home. Sad, but good.

Tom - The yard looks good! I like flowers and statues and fountains. We just have a few potted plants on our front porch. The ones that didn't freeze over the winter when DH forgot to cover them.

I am exhausted for some reason. I would love to go to bed, but I have a feeling Arabella will have other plans. She doesn't like to be locked in the bathroom when she's not tired.

I remember when we got Midnite! The first few days were the hardest!
Remember when I would post about being on "kitty watch"?;)

I'm heading to bed too. Goodnight everyone.

I thought I had the perfect gift for your kids to give their Dad, but alas I can't find it. It is a brand new nose hair clipper set purchased on clearance after christmas a few years ago in the pretty Christmas packaging :rotfl: :rotfl: If I find it I will definitely send it along.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Yes! If anyone has anything they want re-gifted, please let me know! :lmao: :rotfl: :lmao:

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I have TONS of stinky cheap perfume! And lots of Yankee candles and music-themed things like candle holders and pins and earrings... You are welcome to any and all of that! ;)

I was going to suggest taking the kids to Roses and letting them pick out a shirt and tie without any direction from you!

I did that last year for Father's day, except it was at Penneys. FD was a few weeks after he walked out and I hated spending $ on him, but I had to let the kids get a present. So I pointed out the clearance racks and said pick anything you want!

Paula - congrats on the Real Estate courses. sounds perfect for you. Poor Bethie! and YAY to Gabrielle!

Tom - LOVE the playset, but I bet not nearly as much as Leighanna does. ;)

Hi everyone! I just got home and wanted to come here and say hi--hope everyone had a good day!

3more sleeps til disney :)

Bernadette - your TR is fun but your pictures are breathtaking! Thanks for sharing them all.

Tom - your house looks beautiful. Are you responsible for all the landscaping? It is just terrific!
