Here are a couple of pictures of the play center that I put together for Leighanna.

The instructions said that it should only take 3 hours to complete with two adults. I guess with 3 adults and 1 child the time frame is 13 hours!:rotfl:

Your Mothers day food sound yummy. I took a "break" from WW's this weekend.:rolleyes1

He's also in charge of dance tonight & dinner, showers, & bedtime.:yay: I got up at 9am to kiss the kids goodbye & later I am going for a long walk on the beach.

I am so grateful for this day because this week is another crazy-busy week with the kids activities. Dance rehearsals Tues, Wed, & Thurs & the the recital on Saturday, baseball Wed & Sat (can't figure out how I am going to be in 2 places at once on Wed.:sad2: ) & soccer sunday....
I'll post some more Pop photos. It is a really fun place!

Hope you enjoyed your day today.

Stephanie's family has those "live long and be cool" genes!;)

Hi all,
Hope all is well with you all.
We have been rather busy. I have been taking classes for my Real Estate license so I can be a loan officer. I fifgure I want my cake and eat it too with a job so this is one that will work that way. I have two classes down and one to go before the state exam.

Elizabeth has been at a lot of Dr. appts with her lack of growth. So far all is clear but they are not happy with her growth. She has a few more tests to do and then I think I will call it quits for a while. She has been poked more times than a child should. One of her big tests yet to be done is an L Dopa test (IV for two hours or more with them giving her growth hormone during this) and then she has the CF test we can't seem to clear.

Gabrielle is doing great and had a fabulous month at school. She recieved her bile for memorizing 26 bible verses (A-Z) and was she a proud girl. She is ready for swim class and can't wait for our trip to DL in Nov.

Mark has been so very busy with work. It's one little trip after another, then he is the 1st Sgt as well (this means he is the guy they go to when someone is in trouble or has an emergency). He carries a blackberry (sp) with him all the time now (can't wait for that to go away) and I tell ya he seems to always be doing something with work. This past Sat he had to find a member who was deployed and get him home because his son drowned. That is part of the job he so dislikes, the sad stuff just sucks. He does get to go to a lot of cool lunches with many big wigs. I guess that's good.

Other than that we are normal day stuff.

Chat with you all again soon.
Hi there! Hope you get some answers for Bethie!

Prayers for the poor man who lost his son.:sad1:

Great job Tom!!!

Theresa how are things going in your new home?

If I ever can spend more than going to bed there...I'd be able to tell you. :rotfl2:

Off to birthday dinner...hopefully I can get the computer set up tonight.

Tell the girls Happy Birthday!!!

After virtually no sleep the night before. We didn't get back to the resort til after midnight and had to settle in a bit so we went to bed at 1:30 but I didn't sleep at all. We set the wake up call for 6:30 so we could be at the bus by 7:30 but I got up around 5:45. Stitch was good at getting my friend out of bed.

It was worth it to walk up an empty Main Street for breakfast at the CP:
DSC01274.jpg

CP was a great as usual. The 7 YO wasn't too sure about the characters but did really well. I just love the food there. I had a made to order omlet, cheesy potatoes, strawberries, breakfast lasagna, and I love those cinnamon french toast things.

DSC01294.jpg

After CP we did all the rides we wanted in Fantasy Land without any waits-Peter Pan (one of my favorites-none of the others were too impressed), Snow White, Pooh, and the Carosel.
DSC01308.jpg

DSC01314.jpg

We did Buzz (again I think I was the only one who really loved this one) and Space (SIL sat that one out) which the girls LOVED. Then we went back to see Alice & Mad Hatter who we had previously just met and they told us when they would be back out. Mad Hatter was a riot! He loved his autograph card but asked the 22 yo if the picture made him look fat. She said a little and he cried and then said he needed a cuddle and said it made him feel a lot better. I bet it did.:rotfl:

We went to Toon Town to visit Mickey & Minnie's houses. We visited with Minnie, Pluto & Goofy but the line for Mickey was too long.
DSC01334.jpg

We took the path back over to Tomorrow Land and did CoP and the new Monster's Inc Laugh Factory. I think Joe will love Monster's Inc but it was just OK-don't know why it isn't as good as crush.:confused3

We went to the Hall of Presidents. I don't think I've done this one since maybe 1993 so it was great to do it again.
DSC01416.jpg

DSC01427.jpg

The girls wanted to go swimming and I wanted a nap so we left my friend at MK and SIL, 3 girls & I went back to Pop. We saw Lady Tremaine on the walk out but didn't stop to great them.

DSC01443.jpg

The 7yo LOVED walking through the castle.
DSC01444.jpg

Looks like we had picked the perfect time to leave. While we have no waits in the morning the masses were finally getting up and at the parks.
DSC01446.jpg

We went back to Pop and I has a message that the 3rd case of water had arrived so I went and got that. I had a short, much needed, 15 minute nap. Washed the sun screen off my face and headed off to meet everyone at Epcot. I had to go back to the room to put on pants as it had cooled off. We all met at the Peter Pan ship at 6pm and got a fast pass for Test Track. We had dinner at Sunshine Seasons at Land. I had the roasted beet and goat cheese salad which I really enjoyed. Went to ride TT. SIL did do this one but didn't enjoy it. We then headed for World Showcase. We did the new Mexico ride. I enjoyed it and think my kids will enjoy it too. We saw that people were getting spots for Illuminations so we got a spot at Norway. The view of the spere was good from here. I got a school bread which I had never had before. Yummy!! I set up my tripod and took a few (ok a lot....) of night time photos but decided I had to take the camera off the tripod for the actually Illuminations show as I couldn't control the camera enough on the tripod.

We had long but fast moving lines at the bus stop again. When we got back to the resort I took photos of all the icons at Pop. I'll have to upload more shots for all the Oct folks.

Paula! So nice of you to drop by! We have missed you here!

Poor Bethie, hope that all is resolved soon! I miss seeing pictures of your little cuties!princess:

Hi, Paula! I hope things slow down for your DH soon! Good luck finishing up your classes!

Looks spectacular, Tom! Sorry it took so long to put together, but at least it's done!

That looks like such a fun play center! Leighanna will spend many happy hours there, I am sure! Many more than the 13 it took to put it together.;)

DH took Arabella to the vet today because we thought she felt warm. She also doesn't really drink her water very well so we needed to make sure she wasn't getting dehydrated. The vet said she is fine. I am just so paranoid about her getting sick that we will probably take her in once a week for the next few months.:rotfl: Our pet sitter said we could give her some broth mixed with water, or even pour it on her dry food. That worked pretty well. Hopefully she will get the hang of drinking plain water out of a bowl soon!

The others were headed to MGM but that isn't my favorite park so I went to Epcot by myself. I grabbed a hard boiled egg and frozen coke at the food court and got the bus. On the bus I realized that it was EMH but it was already 8:30. I was up so I could have made it there early. Don't know what I was thinking. It was clearly marked on the color coded matrix of fun. :lmao: I found Lizzy's Leave a Legacy then I went straight to Soarin and got a fast pass. I rode stand by with no wait and then had my breakfast while I waited for fast pass time. When I road again there was a HUGE stand by line. I spent the next few hours just taking photos. I went to the character connection to get a few autographs for postcards. I met a diser who will be in the row in front of us on the flight in August and also on the same flight home. I wanted to get post cards signed for her kids from the favorites characters. While taking photos around Imagination I saw that Figment was out.

When World Showcase opened I headed over there to make my way to the International Gateway to take the boat to MGM to meet my friends for a 12:15 ADR at Sci Fi. The rose garden and water elements on the path from Imagination to WS were really beautiful!!!

Everyone loved Sci Fi. I was "shocked" by the agressive crowds watching the High School Musical show. The girls had seen the earlier show and the lead fainted and then lost breakfast-poor guy. I guess they found a new lead. I took the boat back to YC and walked to Epcot from there. I stopped to look at the pick a pearl settings they had there and still beat the boat to Epcot.

I did the entire WS loop (taking a few photos along the way) again before meeting up with the others back at MGM at 7PM for Fantasmic. Don't know I didn't take any UK photos? Here's Canada:

The orchids in Mexico were breathtaking!!!! I met up with Donald, Jose and Panchito there too. Jose was a flirt and Panchito tried to say he was #1-what a trouble maker!

In China they had a topiary for each Chinese Zodiac year. They were really cool. I also saw the 360 movie for the first time in years and saw the terra cotta wariors for the first time. I usually don't do any shopping but I had to check out all the stores since I had that gift card. It was lots of fun browsing the stores. The acrobat was putting bowls on her foot and then flipping them onto her head-all while on a really high unicycle.

I saw the American Experience for the first time in years also:

I headed back to MGM but just missed the boat so I walked to YC and beat the boat there. Took the boat to MGM from YC and met up with the others. We went to Fantasmic. I still don't think Joe or Emma will be ready for this in August. Joe can be "weird" about what he wants to do and Emma is afraid of "human" villans so this would really bother her.
