I'm so sorry about your friend. I'll just never understand stuff like that. I don't think it would have been that difficult for her to show up for this important day in Daniel's life.

I would be furious, and hurt, and disappointed. That was REALLY inconsiderate of her! I can't believe as the godmother she didn't place a higher importance on attending Daniel's communion! If her child fell and broke a leg ON THE WAY to the ceremony that would be different. This is really just inexcusable.

I agree... It's done now, I am just not sure how to deal with her going forward. Our DD's are close & I wouldn't want them to stop seeing each other but I do not feel like her "friend" at this point.

Glad to hear the teachers were happy with their gifts! Riley picked out a bear figurine that was reading a book & I added a bag of kisses. He said his teacher was very happy & put the bear on his desk.


I was supposed to have today off, but was called in for a few hours. Oh well, I missed some earlier this week. Riley's team played really well tonight & won 15-4

I think my e-mail is broken. There seem to be NO new messages. I need a job, and I need a cat. E-mails pertaining to either or both would be really good.

DH was playing with Aurora this afternoon. There was a noise in the living room and Aurora ran to Amanda's pillow to see if she was there. DH said he isn't sure what made the noise. I have just kept Amanda's pillow on the couch where it always was. Maybe we will put her box of ashes on it when we get them back. Probably won't keep it on the back of the couch anymore. That might be awkward for guests.

Jennifer so sorry about your grandmother. I hope that it is in the early stages. I also hope you take care of yourself. The stress of your grandmother's illness might be contributing to the headaches.

I had a stressful day here with my nephew. His mouth is driving me up the wall and I am really making little headway on the housework though I'm really trying. I was glad to go to work just for the break. turn out work was slow and the tips tonight sucked. $27 off of 11 people isn't very good. I did 28 people, but those 11 were 2 parties. You win some and lose some and this week has been a loss. Hopefully Sunday will be busy and more profitable.

I have to tell you guys the best news--

My parents got me the best present for graduation!! Disney dollars and my park hoppers for my trip!! i was going to go tomorrow to buy them

I decided what I am doing for my co-leaders. I am making them a simple 12 x 12 scrapbook. Next Wednesday I plan on having each girl write or draw a thank you picture/letter on an 8 1/2 by 11 piece of paper and I will be adding picture(s) of each girl to their letter/picture. The one co-leader won't be there and the other one tends to be pretty oblivious.

I hope to give them to my co's on June 10th the day we go whitewater rafting. This way I have some time to work on them, considering there are 16 girls. I would like to have them done for the awards on May 30th but don't know if it will happen.

Next weekend I am doing Relay for Life Friday night into Saturday morning and Sunday I will be at Dorney Park for Girl Scout day, I am volunteering for 4 hours and then the rest of the day I can do the park, I haven't been there for several years.
