Got news today that a dear friend passed away on 4-30
He had been diagnosed with lung cancer 2 years ago.

Well, I'm off to help Chuck put the trim up in the breezeway. That is the last step and we are done with it. I've got all the trim stained and it is dry so it goes up tonight.

Woohoo! Wow, you are getting so close to graduation. I can't believe how fast the time has flown. Where do you go to school anyway? Is it televised? I heard that this year they are going to do a live web stream of the graduation from the university Katrina attends. I think that is cool.

My brother cant get off of work--im bummed, but i understand..
My godmother will be coming instead and shes so excited about it!

My friend is graduating, but not from Rowan--I went to Marywood University my first semester and thats where i met Kristen--i left after the semester but we stayed friends..she graduates on the 13th

That is so cool that the two of you can take this trip together. What is she graduating in? Are you guys going to be able to live close together after college? That has always been the hardest part of moving for me - finding new friends and leaving the old ones behind. I have a large mailing list because of the few moves we have made. We'll be sending an invitation to Becky & Katrina's first day care provider. She was awesome. I absolutely loved her and so did the girls.

I'm sorry that your brother can't attend but that your godmother can come in his place is great. My brother will be coming from Japan with his son who will be a year old for Becky's high school graduation. It is a surprise for her. My favorite aunt can't be here because her grandkids, twins, are graduating the same week-end. We are all bummed. There are only a couple of people that mattered to her to come and Aunt Lola was one.

kristen is graduating with Early childhood education too...as of now, theres no plans of moving for either of us--since we dont get paid for student teaching, were both pretty broke (but saved like crazy for disneY!) so were both living at home for awhile and saving.

Im so excited my godmother will be there--shes not my "real" godmother, but is real in any ways that count.She is married to my "real"godfather and has always been there for me--we go on vacations and she went to my high school graduation..so im thrilled she will be there for my graduation!
i cant believe its coming up--i have been waiting and waiting and now its like the last 4 years have come to this last week!

Well the dr called in medicine for me so im trying that..i dont know why this hit me so quick ,but im hoping it leaves as quick as well! Good thing its almost the weekend!

I know!!!!!! And my "to do" list keeps growing!!! At least all the T-shirts are done. I've been taking pictures as I did them, so I'll post some pictures of them one of these days!

I got our countdown calendar done and posted today, and the kids are so excited!!!! I was even able to find some Disney Jibbitz at our Hallmark store. I still need to find a couple more, so tomorrow after bowling I'm going to look in the stores in Salt Lake City.

The only thing I still have to do for the autograph pages is cut them out and place them in the coupon organizers. I have clipboards and Sharpies for each kid.

Still need to make the water bottle holders, but that won't take too long.

So much to do...not very much time, left! Hooray!!!!!!!

What book is it???

I hear you about sleeping the day away...though it is beautiful here today!! My knee hurts like the dickens and I didn't sleep very well last night.

Jim is getting movers lined up for the piano and our heavy items that need to come up the stairs nicely.

When I was doing the insurance estimate yesterday I realized how much we have invested in musical instruments. Not jewelry, not antiques, not tv's and stereos...but thousands of dollars in musical instruments...most given to us.

The book is "Freddy and Fredericka" by Mark Helprin. I finished it about an hour ago, and it is so good!!!! Very funny!!! It is a fictional story about a prince of England with very large ears who is married to a drop dead gorgeous woman, who is kind of an airhead. Together they create scandal after scandal, so the government tells them they have to do something splendid to wipe the slate clean. They are parachuted, naked, into Paramus, New Jersey with orders to reclaim the Colonies.

It is definitely worth the read!!!!

Matthew seems to have whatever Miles had on Sunday and Monday. Matthew looks worse, though, and his cough sounds worse. He had a temp of 103.9 last night. He was actually trying to go to school this morning, and he is still running a fever! I know that it is hard to miss any time in high school, but he is definitely sick. He ended up sleeping almost all day, so I'm sure that even he sees that he couldn't have gone to school today.

I hope that Matthew feels better soon! There's just something wicked going around. It's been hitting our neighborhood pretty hard. I am just waiting for one of my kids to get it! Hopefully not this weekend, though. Alan and Jacob are going camping on a Father's and Son's outing with our church.

The hot water heater was an easy fix. For some reason it reset its self. John just had to turn it off and then back on.
