Queen Elizabeth is coming to visit Virginia today so all roads leading to Richmond are really crowded and it promises to be showery too. She and Prince Philip will continue on to Jamestown tomorrow to mark the 400th anniversary of the founding of that colony. (Just a little bit of history trivia for your morning wake up!)

No special plans today, we like to keep it quiet on the actual day. But a big party on the 6th.

Just a quick pop in before I go get dressed. DH thinks it would be a good idea to take the brand new digital camera on this camping trip. I disagree. 36 kids and not many chaperones mean things are going to disappear. Everyone was instructed NOT to bring things like Ipods and Game Boys and that sort of thing. We have about 8 disposable cameras left over from Disney trips that they can take and it won't matter if they get muddy or lost or stolen.

Wow--just checked out my tickers!! 8 days til graduation..2 weeks til Disney...my last day of student teaching is TOMORROW!

I can't believe how fast your trip is coming ummm I mean graduation I remember your first day of student teaching and it didn't seem like that long ago. Today is a milestone for you. I bet they will have a litte party for you today

I have no doubt. You always seem so happy. How could you go wrong? Happy Anniversary. Sounds like you need to have a nice night out tonight. I know a great restaurant and a hostess that could find you a spectacular table, but I hear it is quite a commute
