Afternoon everyone,

Amy - loved the pictures as always, the girls don't look too thrilled with the ride in the one picture.

I have a question, what Resort restaurant would you recommend we try on one of our MGM days in November. DH is strictly a meat and potato kind of guy, nothing fancy so that limits our choices, any suggestions? :confused3

Have you done Prime Time? It's all about pot roast, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, etc. And fun, too! :goodvibes

ETA: Ah, I see you might be wanting something at the nearby resorts. What about the ESPN Club on the Boardwalk? Or maybe Beaches & Cream at the Beach Club? Or the Yacht Club Galley has some "meat and potatoes" type stuff on their menu. Yachtsman Steakhouse is also really good!

We will be having dinner at Prime Time one other night we are there, and we have done Sci Fi on our last two trips so I was trying to come up with some thing different. So I thought maybe we could try one of the nearby resorts.

Well I off to the now indoor campout :goodvibes Imagine if you will 40+ kids all crammed into the gym for the night with us lucky adult chaperones :thumbsup2 I packed my tylenol PM, maybe I should throw earplugs in too. It's not raining now so maybe we can get them outside for a while and have a campfire. It would make life a lot easier. Have a great evening.

Oh yeah. My mother has decided to join us for our last week. Now I need to wait for a good DING for her airfare. I guess I'll need to make her a set of shirts too ;)

Hello, All!

I had a chance to read through earlier today, but no time to do individual replies. So from memory:

Jen - Enjoy your weekend!

Deb - Enjoy your camp-out. Or if you don't enjoy it, I hope you survive!:rotfl2:

Amy - It looks like Kevin & ALyssa had fun, even if it took Alyssa a minute to decide that it was fun! My worst nightmare is being splashed with water, so I don't know if I will ever ride Splash or Kali.

Vicki - Good to hear from you! Happy Anniversary!

Terry - Happy Anniversary to you, too!

Lindsay - Glad the trip is coming together!

Debbie - We had a bad experience at Yachtsman Steakhouse, but other people really enjoy it. DH says we will NEVER eat there again (I think that was because it was so not worth 2 credits per person), but I wouldn't be against trying it again.

Hi,

We went to the Hayden Planetarium for Katie's school trip. They are working on the big bang theory & the universe. I love this subject.
Did alot of walking & I am pooped. The kids had a great time.

Haven't had a chance to check each post for a few days so a :grouphug: for everyone..hope all is o.k. & you have a great weekend.

Modern Marvels Walt Disney World is on the History Channel right now.

The thunder last night! it shook my house. :scared1: :scared1: It also poured.

Today was about 90º and now we are getting more thunder.

Well that was dumb, they let her ride twice and then say she is too small. :confused3

I couldn't get on this morning either.

I remember the first time I took Leighanna on that ride! We rode it two times, but the third time the ride attendant said that Leighanna was too small, and we had to exit the ride! She was not happy about that!

I couldn't get on the Disboards this morning, and I sure missed my morning fix.

Chat with you all later!

Tom, here's one for ya.

My sister is short 4' 10" We used to go to Dorney Park a lot years ago. Well one year she was told that she needed an adult with her to ride the one roller coaster even though she was tall enough and 26, boy was she PO'ed.
We had a cousin with us who was 16 so she rode with Dawn.

Debbie,

50's Prime Time. is good. but check all ears site and you can see all of the restaurants listed and the menus.

Debbie -- defintiely take Terry's advice and checkout allearsnet.com for menus. Also, keep in mind that Disney is EXTREMELY accommodating with meals, and is happy to do so. My father is the world's pickiest eater. In addition to this fact, he also goes ballistic when someone tries to even discuss "strange" food options. He still to this day, though, raves about the food at Disney... and we really got to try a lot of wonderful restaurants with him included! :goodvibes

I agree 100% that it was not worth using 2 credits (and we did), but we had an amazing evening there in December. We would go back in a heartbeat and pay cash! We had the most scrumptious Shiraz there (Molly Dooker) and our server took the label off the bottle for me to keep. She fared well in the tip department. ;) Oh yeah, the food was good too....

I spent today shopping for clothes for Kristin to start her new job at Carrabbas on Sunday. And California Dreaming/Planning.

For the DL portion of our trip I think we will try out Napa Rose and The Vineyard Room as well as RFC and the Uva Bar at Catal. Of course, we have to have lunch at Blue Bayou. I get to make our reservations this weekend! :yay:

We are celebrating our 34th anniversary at Napa Rose. Can't wait to surprise Bob with this stuff. :goodvibes

Hi, everyone. Sorry I haven't been around today! I feel like a chicken rushing around with her head cut off! I think we're ready to go, though! The car is packed, the only thing left to do is toss toothbrushes in in the morning, and throw the cooler in before we leave.

We're stopping in Vegas for the night tomorrow, so it will break the trip up some! The kids are so excited I know they won't be sleeping tonight! Maybe I'll slip them a sleeping pill in their milk and cookies???

I don't think that I'll be able to post while I'm in DL, so until next week, my friends!!! I'm taking notes, pictures, etc., so expect to see a pretty comphrehensive report when we get home!

Have a great week, and know that I'm thinking about you all, and keeping you in my prayers!!! Good luck to everyone who needs it!!!
