And please give your DGD a hug from us to help her get through this sad time with her best friend and his family. How very sad.

In all my years of family trips, this is the first time it is starting off with such saddness.

Thanks Beth. It is pretty tragic. The family is beyond devasated. I hope they send in grief counselors today. My DGD is just devasted.

I just printed out my boarding passes!

And I just booked my October airfare!

I know. She is just so sad. So very, very sad. It is a lot for a young child to handle. The family has gone into seculsion. I'm just stunned.

I must focus on the trip. Focus on finishing my work. Focus on finishing packing. Focus. Focus. My DD looks like heck. I don't think she or my DGD slept more than 2 hours.

Well, I've gotta go to work. Thank you so much for your support DDA. You have no idea how much it means to me. I will pass on all good wishes to my DGD. She's going to need it.

Reminds me a bit of that horribly sad movie... Return to Tibeia or whatever, where there is such a tragic unexpected death. Why? What is the lesson?

Tammi and Steffy have fun!!! I really wish that we were going too. Since I can't go I guess I can get some Disney related things done around here. I have all my blank Ts in the wash and I need to change my ink so it will be a good day to start printing transfers and autograph pages. It is raining today and it is supposed to continue through the weekend. Me thinks I will get some inside stuff done. Hunter does bowl Sunday in the Pepsi Nationals bowling tournament so that will keep us busy Sunday afternoon and evening.

Elizabeth. On the plus side, I hated to commute. I commuted at least 45 minutes each way for 12 years. It gets old fast. I hope you find the perfect roly-poly baby 5 minutes from your home...

I received 3 wonderful emails from Disney.

I hope my family enjoys their trip. My DD lamented that to get to Kona Cafe, she will have to take the bus and then take the monorail instead of just walking up the walkway. No towel animals. No Mousekeeping. Boo hiss DVC. No monorail. No TTC. When are we eating at Sci-fi? Primetime? I didn't make reservations at either.


edited.. I think it is all misplaced anger. One of my DGD's classmates died today. The funeral will be held while we're in Disney. His brother is one of DGD's best friends. She is devasted. I think the best thing we could do for her is to take her to his home tomorrow before we leave and let them comfort each other. He obviously didn't come to school today, and the thought that she won't see him this horrific week, is killing her spirit.



Well, I guess i better get to sleep. I leave for Disney today!!!

Oh dear!! I am so sorry for your granddaughter and the family!!

We had our Weight Watchers meeting today at work and for this week I lost 1.8 lbs. I was so close to the 15 total lbs lost that I even took off my jeans!!!

So since July I have lost a total of almost 26 lbs. 16 since we started Weight Watchers.

I got my 10% keychain.
