Your's looks good too! :thumbsup2

Thanks! Can you remind me (yet again) where you are the last few days of your trip, and the first few of mine? I made a mental note at one point that we'd share some park days (Kyle and I arrive 5/2, in the morning) but can't remember if that's really still true. I'll need to know to keep an eye out for you guys! :thumbsup2

Today is DH's friend's birthday. (His friend who was killed last summer.) DH stopped by to see his friend's parents on his way home from work today. I am sure it was a very difficult day for them.:guilty:

While I was thinking about his friend I realized that DH is turning 40 this year! Wow! When did he get so old?:rotfl2: So now I will have to ponder what to do for his birthday. WDW is not a workable proposal, so I'll have to think of something else. His birthday is in October.

We had a great time yesterday and I think everyone enjoyed themselves. The weather was gorgeous. It's so funny to see Molly interact with everyone. I love this age because they are definitely aware that the whole thing is about them.
Great pictures! LOVE the T's, cake & cupcakes. Looks like all had a great time!

Im working on lesson plans for the last time this semester....this is my last full week of teaching! im so stressed and cant wait for it to be done!!!!!!!

So I am home from my job interview and it went REALLY well.:) Mr. Roly-Poly Baby is very nice. His mom and dad are wonderful, but they are quite new to all of this. The contract and setting up the payroll and taxes appears to be a bit daunting to Dadboss2B. But we shall see how things progress from here. Right now I am scheduled to do a "test drive" in morning traffic next Monday (a week from tomorrow) so I can time the drive and meet the baby's current nanny. That way she can tell me about his schedule and how she has his week structured, and I can determine how much of a time commitment that commute is going to be! The parents are also going to talk with the current nanny and get a solid timeline on when she would like to finish the position. I told them if they would like to look at more candidates over the next couple of weeks that I encourage them to do so. It sounds like a great job, and it sounds like precisely what I am looking for! I just hope we can make a decision fast enough that my current bosses will have plenty of time to find a replacement. That job would likely start 6 weeks from now, and I want them to have at least 4 weeks to look at candidates.
:wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

I have made our first hotel reservations for the July trip! I went WAAAAAY out on a limb and bookd the Howard Johnson's Anaheim that Mary from Mousesavers really likes. Using her discount I got the top floor room with a balcony and fireworks/theme park view for under $300 for two nights. That was the cost of one night at the DL Hotel with no view at all! It also looks as if this hotel may possibly be closer to DL than the DL Hotel is!
That sounds great!

after i got in from the garage sale yesterday i saw i have a massive sunburn on the right side of my body. OUCH! also my chest too. i was wearing a tank top and had my left side in the shade so left is slightly burnt but right was red. my attendant kept calling me lobster last night.:lmao: maybe no massage therapy for me on Tuesday.
Hope you get relief soon!

Karen - I always get sunburned on my scalp and on the back of my neck if I have my hair in a ponytail. I hope yours fades quickly! I like to keep some of that Clinique "after sun" lotion on hand. You can put it in the fridge and then it is really soothing on the sunburn!
I didn't know Clinique had an after sun lotion. I may have to get some.

I just completed the tedious task of typing my original contract with my current bosses into a new Word document. I had the original saved in my old computer, but since it is completely disconnected now I decided to cut my losses and just retype it! I e-mailed it to my potential family so they can see what sort of terms are in there and how it is structured and so forth. I also gave them 3 different websites that have contracts that families can print out so they should be really comfortable if the time comes for them to draw up a contract with me.:) And if they end up not hiring me at least I have the darn contract saved in my new computer now! :rotfl:
:thumbsup2 That's great to have that done and will show the new family how interested you are to help them out.

Well Becky is off to dinner & the prom. I'm sorry you will all have to wait for pictures. I took the pictures on my camera and she asked to borrow it since it takes better pictures than hers. I didn't have time to download the pictures I had taken before she left. You'll all have to wait until tomorrow for pictures. She looked like a princess. Her boyfriend wore a white tux and looked quite handsome. They made a striking couple.

I ended up pulling her hair all up on top of her head and making a bun after I curled it all. It looked quite nice. She didn't want to have the beautician do it this year so mom got the honors. I also did her friends hair. :scared: She asked me if I could do french braids. :scared1: I haven't done those in years. The girls hair is so fine it really doesn't look that great. As you all know, I'm a very simple person - wash my hair, run a brush through it & go. So putting up two girls hair had me quite stressed. They both turned out quite nice actually. I surprised myself.

That's me, too, but I can't even do someone else's hair. Laura does her own hair better than I could ever do it. She (and I) also have very fine hair. Congrats to you for doing two girls!

We think Becky's girl friend was stood up for prom. He is from out of town and she hadn't heard from him about an hour before they were going to dinner. Becky asked her boyfriend if he minded having an extra person. He is a nice young man and didn't mind. Becky went to pick her up and brought her out here so I could do her hair at the last minute. Not sure the background on that. Her family doesn't have much money and her mother had to work tonight. Becky was going to pay for her dinner since she can't afford it and her date stood her up. I'm very proud of my daughter for that! I hope they all have a great time!!!

I hope that they all have a great time! I am glad that the girl is going with Becky and her date instead of missing prom. I can't wait to see your pictures. I'm hoping since I am late, they will be posted already.

You're doing great~Enjoy this last week!

Robyn - MORE cake? Stop with all the cake!!:rotfl2: I hope the cake was yummy! It looks yummy!

Tammi, Stephanie, Jen, Jennifer - Those are some pretty impressive tickers you girls have! I wish I was going to Disney SOON! Over 100 days is NOT soon!

Sounds like a good fit. :wizard: that it works out!!

It is gorgeous outside today. It must be in the 70's. We got some housework done this morning and then we went outside :thumbsup2 I even layed in the sun for over an hour. I really need to get a bit of color as I'm white as a ghost after the winter :rotfl: I think I'll run to the store and get something to BBQ tonight. I plan on soaking up as much of this wonderful day as possible.

Lindsay have a great trip.

For all of you heading to the World soon I am so Jealous

To all of myfriends have a wonderful day.

Deb

Sounds lovely!

Hello from LA! :goodvibes We have a heinous layover while we wait for our flight to Lihue, but that's what I get for making our award reservations kind of late. But, I'm sitting in the Admirals Club in a quiet room, using my dad's T-Mobile acct. to DIS, sipping a free soda, after getting the exact exit row seats I wanted for our flight ahead, and just caught up on the 20 pages I missed over the last couple of days. And I'm headed to my next favorite place in the world (next to WDW, of course). So, things aren't too shabby right now. :thumbsup2

I'm so glad to hear that all of you are having good weekends. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the rain they are predicing in Kauai will be short-lived and in the very early morning while I'm still sleeping. :goodvibes
Hi to everyone else, and so sorry if I missed anyone. :grouphug: :wizard: all around! I think I'm going to sign off for now, and watch some Grey's Anatomy to while away the rest of our layover. Talk to you soon!

Enjoy your vacation!

We must have hit 80 degrees today......B_E_A_U_T_I_F_U_L!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We went to the beach today & it was gorgeous! We walked the beach looking for shells. The water was freezing but there were people crazy enough to be in already in bathing suits. We were not them!:lmao:

It was so nice to put our feet in the sand..I have been waiting for today since last fall.

We all got some color & the beach makes my kids tired so no trouble getting them to bed tonight.:thumbsup2

I am going to walk the beach again tomorrow when the kids go to school....very peaceful there during the weekday.

Hope you all enjoyed your Sunday.

I'm sure that water was freezing...what a way to spend the afternoon.

My mom and I took the girls and my niece to the park today and they just fell into bed. I love the sunshine and fresh air, makes bedtime all that much easier!

And I'm crunching numbers for Disneyland for us next year. Looks like we'll be trading places!

Yay, Beth!!!

Ok, here is my princess with her prince.

Here's a closer look at her hair.

I third that.

Me, too! Jennifer, how do you feel about coming back to the thread?

That's me, too, but I can't even do someone else's hair. Laura does her own hair better than I could ever do it. She (and I) also have very fine hair. Congrats to you for doing two girls!

I do Sister's hair every day, but it isn't anything elaborate! She tells me if she wants one ponytail or two, or if she wants a braid. I can't french braid, I just do the plain kind! After her bath I twist her hair up to keep the wet hair off of her back, but that's about it! I also did her "princess" hair for Halloween but it was just parted into several sections, twisted and secured with those tiny little pastel claw clips. It drives me NUTS when her hair is in her face, so I am constantly fixing her barrettes.

Bernadette - The lotion is Clinique After Sun Rescue Balm. It comes in a 5 oz. "tube" like the body cream from Bath & Body. They usually have it with the other Clinique sun products - sunscreen and so on.

:woohoo: Let me know how you like it. I have just barely started scratching the surface of hotels around Disneyland. Because we have 5, we may be better off with one room at DL Hotel than two rooms at some of the other places. I just know that Grand Californian will be out of our price range. Do you know if HJ's sleep 4 or 5?

Beth

Thank you! We'll be on the lookout for you in Epcot 5/3 and the MK 5/5!

Have a wonderful trip, in case I forget to say it before you leave! :goodvibes
Ok, I'm making a mental note. You guys have a great trip too!

Thanks for all the comments on the party pics...

I did make the cake, and it about killed me. I was up til 1am decorating it! I just couldn't get motivated so it took me a lot longer than it should have. I have almost the whole cake leftover, most of the kids ate the cupcakes so if anyone wants a piece you have my address ;)

Good night all..I am beat and need a decent night's sleep. After Friday night and last night Molly woke up with a fever just as I was headed to bed at midnight I can't keep my eyes open.
