So I talked to Jim.....he THINKS they set the deadline for tomorrow at 6 for whether they accept it or not.

If we didn't have a high schooler who is firmly entrenched in her school I might have thought about it. But gotta go with what we know.

Jim finally told his parents ALL of the situation. I have my problems with them....but bless their hearts they offered us money (a lot) if we needed it.
My biggest problem with them is they play favorites and Jim isn't it and neither are the girls....they only know how to show Jim affection through money...they just don't know how to communicate with somebody who is so different then they are.

Hmmm, how to keep Theresa distracted so she doesn't go nuts waiting to find out about the townhouse? Did I mention that I ordered my T-shirts for our DL trip today? Alan is going to absolutely KILL me!!!! I ordered 49 shirts!!!!! I'm doing one set for the whole big group (My hope is the dream team will find us), and then the 11 grandkids are all getting 3 apiece. I just couldn't stop myself! Luckily, my sister and my SIL have said they'd help pay for them. I just know Alan is going to blow a gasket when he sees the CC bill! Oh well. Too bad!!!! We only do this huge trip once every 2 years, so we deserve to live it up a little, right?

I should get the shirts next week, then I can do the washing and start the ironing. Since that's the hardest, I think I'll farm some of it out to my sister!

Hi everyone! Today is MUCH better now that I'm home. Just busy with clients that will spend ALL DAY with you if you let them.

Robyn - I forgot to price it out today, but will do it tomorrow!

If anyone is still having problems getting on the Group board, I changed the access to being able to request membership to the board for a week or so. Some people were having problems with having too many email addresses included. Just go to the group page and click on "apply for group membership" and hopefully that will work!

So if it's not one thing it's just another. Today they got to remove his tubes again and place him on a simple nasal canula, much more peacefull for him and he's not trying so hard to yank things out. He also is having really good gases and looks like he may stay off for a while.

However, he is also having another echo cardiogram tomorrow, it seems that his heart is showing signs of a typical diabetic mother baby. His walls between the two lower chambers are thick and have not reduced over the last two weeks. So they will look at this again and prescribe some sort of medication to help with it.

And to finish off today's recap: it looks like he will be in a private room for another 18 days or so. Some over anxious doctor didn't wait 24 hours to find out that all his cultures were coming back negative and did a test which CDC mandates a 21 day isolation while the culture possibly grows. So we will continue to have to wrap our bodies in all kinds of protection and look forward to an overpriced room charge for something that was most likely not needed, however I will eat my words if it does come back positive.

This little guy has been through much.
Prayers said for a speedy recovery.
