Did or is anyone else from the DDA entering the audience challenge this time? It is due tonight. I am entering again.

The real game is down to the TOP 10 and 4 of those 10 are members of my original TEAM, including Kate (julia and nicks mom). It would be great if one of them won.

Goodmorning DDA!!!

I was wondering if anyone could HELP me get some Meet the Robinson Ticket Stubs. One thing I developed from playing the WPASADI game with the VMK people was an ADDICTION TO VMK Like I needed another addition.

Anyways I can use the ticket stubs to get VMK items so if you happen to go see the movie and want to send me your stubs I would really appreciate getting them. Also if you have any VMK quest items or stuff from the WDW or DL that you want to unload pass them my way.

I go back to Weight Watchers today but I have done good so far this week. I will post an update later on the Weight loss thread.

I can send you ours. We are going Friday morning I think. Can you send me a PM to remind me and your address is it's not on the big DDA list? Good luck at your weigh in. I'm sure you've done great!

Thanks, Tia! That sounds like a great experience! I am really worried about them only going for one day, so I was glad to hear that she got an ADR for a character meal. She said there is no Fantasmic Thursday night. Hopefully they will decide to go to WDW so I can plan it for them. I am also very tempted to just scoop up Brother and bring him with me sometime. He "gets it" more than Sister, which is funny since he is only 3.

Other than the crowds for spring breaks, one day isn't too bad at DL. They can hit a bunch of highlights in that time if they use it wisely. Fantasmic is closed for awhile so they'd miss it no matter what day. Are they just doing the one park or hopping? If they hop, then I would highly recommend not missing the Electrical Parade. Also, if they can stay that late, the fireworks are not to be missed! REALLY GOOD!!!! The parade is pretty cute too so I would do it if possible

Most importantly though, really recommend that they are there at park opening and head directly to Peter Pan! From there, hit Dumbo, Mr Toad, Casey Jr and, as soon as it opens, Storybook Canals. The other Fantasyland rides won't build up as quickly, but Peter Pan will be huge and fast, followed by Dumbo. The Storybook Canals build quickly too, but they don't always open right at park opening. While in the area, they should do Matterhorn before it gets too busy. The height requirement is only 35" on this so Brother should be able to ride if he's up for it. While fast and a little jerky, it's not overly scary IMO. Plus, you sit two in a seat - front to back - so they could sit in Mom and Dad's laps. Oh yeah, and Astro Orbitor will get lines early on too.

Looking at the schedule for the day, there aren't really any other shows I would call a "don't miss". The Aladdin and Jasmine storytime is cute and good for a rest. I haven't done the Princess Faire before so don't know about it, but with only one time at 10, it may not be worth missing the lower lines.

Good luck getting them packed. Just remember the closer they are to packed, the closer you are to some well-deserved days off!!

Speaking of that, this past weekend I finally broke down and told Bob of my addiction to you all. I laid it all out.....how I joined the DIS to research, eventually came across the design thread, met all of you through the internet, met some of you in RL at WDW and DC, etc etc. He didn't run in the other direction and completely gets it, or so he says. He's still calling me so I guess that's a good sign.

Hi Vicki. I'm glad you are there safe and sound.

Deb - since you still have some time to play with it, I would try Priceline. You can name your price for a van and then if it is accepted, you are good to go. But if it isn't you can't rebid until the next day. Then you can raise your price a few dollars and rebid. I've gotten great deals that way in the past.

I may try that and see if I can get a great rate for the whole trip. Otherwise I think we will be stuck with National as they are onsite though Alamo is too

I bought the tickets to get us down to Orlando....we had to add a day......have to go on Friday not Saturday...other than finding hotel for one night it's cheaper for us to go in a day earlier. Once again that's my story and I am sticking to it!!!

We are arriving on Saturday since we are flying instead of Sunday if we had driven. We are also not leaving until Sunday and if we had driven we would have left on Friday. So I had to add 3 days onto our trip What else could I do?

There has not as of yet been a job offer here as they can't really do anything about the manager's position until she makes a decision of what she is doing which probably won't happen until the end of the 12 weeks of family medical leave. Which is like the end of May.

As they must be able to offer her an equal paying job when she would potentially come back. So it is a waiting game. Not sure if I would want it or not. I have my concerns about the assistant manager. Cost of living is very high and I have a hard time working when living so close to the beach as all I wanna do is be outside.

So once again I really don't know.

At least you can see the drawbacks before you have to decide.

I posted this on the weight loss thread but I just had to come here & say..

This was my first week at Weight Watchers & I lost 5.8 lbs!
The meeting leader was great, liked her more than the one last week) very "real" if that makes sense. Unfortunately I cannot attend that particular meeting every week (Dana is working from home today so I went) I hope I can find a nice group.

We are going to see Meet the Robinsons today...it got 3 1/2 stars!!!
Looking forward to it.

Elizabeth....your charges are very lucky to have you!! The sad thing is I know way too many parents like your bosses and they don't have nannies coming behind them to clean up their messes.

Ellen...everyone had great advice for you!! I am betting there's more to the story but feelings were still hurt. Maybe suggest they have an afternoon out on a Sunday....so you can get in cuddle time.

Well, all the mowing and trimming is done. I even learned how to replace the string on the weed-wacker. I had to dig out the manual to figure it out, but I got it done. Now I need to tackle the garage. Last night Alyssa told me she would help, but now she has decided that she wants to paint (watercolors) instead. Actually, this may be more help than she realizes. She won't be in my way!

Thanks! He is very ticklish & anytime the girl tried to pose him he just cracked up & she had to wait for him to finish before she could take a picture.
