NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More.

As another data point, with Target, I’ve consistently saved 15% on DGCs (except for the gift card bonus deal, where it worked out to 14.5%).

The Circle bonuses are as good as cash to me. They’re good for a year, good on everything except gift cards, and stack with whatever other deals or sales Target is offering at the time. There’s none of that funny Kohl’s cash math going on .
Thank you @Duckyswims1720. Your DP and those from @TheOneWithTheTriplets and others have really helped me warm to the notion of adding the Target credit card.

Has anyone who used a Chase offer to buy dgc at Giftcards.com gotten their cash back credit yet? I added an offer on my Chase United Explorer card (one I no longer use and may ditch next year), and bought $1000 worth of cards on Dec 17. As in, I added the offer that day and immediately made a purchase. When I went to check the credit status yesterday to adjust the money budgeted to go to that card in my nerdy budget app, I noticed that the offer shows under “expired” as expired Nov 30. I don’t see how that’s even possible since it added to my card Dec 17, and hey, that’s $50 possibly not coming to me! Obvs I need to call Chase, but any insights here? (In other news, this is how I learned to take a darn screenshot of these things, but I digress.)
My Giftcards.com purchase posted, yet my Giftcards.com Chase Offers is still showing active (not redeemed or expired). I activated, then purchased (in that order) on the same-day. I'll give it a little more time.

Did you save a prior Giftcards.com Chase Offer that expired in Nov and then saved a new offer in Dec?

I called chase for the November one expiring even though I made purchases on the 25th and they gave me my 50 dollars.
I've tried secure messaging to remedy Chase Offer credits not posting and after the issues were "escalated" I was told too bad.

I haven't tried calling, maybe I should.

I used it on the prior deal, charge posted to my Cc on 12/20, got the 5% back. It says 12/13, but I know it actually appeared a few days after that (my statement closed 12/14 and the credit wasn’t there then).

It's too soon, chase offers generally don't post that fast. The charge doesn't even post from pending on the day of purchase. I used an offer on thr 17th and mine hasn't posted yet and I'm not worried about it.

I got the statement credit on the 15th for purchases done on the 10th so I’d just wait a bit longer before worrying

Thank you! One more question— if I use my red card, can I buy $150 worth of DGC (so $142.50 on card) or must the total charged on the card be over $150?

Thx. I’m at boardwalk now. Got in super late last night (11pm). Can’t wait to get the day started with my DGCs!!!

It's the pre-red card total. So, $150 in DGC will trigger a $150 offer even though you're paying 142.50 on your red card.

One thing to be careful of is that if the order includes a free target gift card, the amount of the target gift card does not count towards the bonus total. That is because the target gift card is not really free (even though Target says it is), they charge you for the target gift card and deduct the amount of the target gift card from the other item you are buying.

Target. I just received $15 off of $115 purchase. I checked terms and conditions and I don’t see where it excludes gift cards has anyone uses

If you happen to use Verizon there is an offer on Chase credit cards for Verizon Business, shows on 4 of my chase cards. If you buy a Verizon gift card from the main website the credit is triggered. This gift card can be applied to your Verizon bills it is a 15% discount. Max out at $333 in spend, increments are $25.

How long did it take for your chase credit to post? I purchased from giftcards.com and Verizon both on December 10, the giftcards.com credit posted on December 15 but the Verizon one has not posted and still shows as available on my offers. Also, on the Doctorofcredit post about this, 3 or 4 people who purchased on December 6 say they have not received the credit yet after purchasing Verizon gift cards.

By all means try putting it in your cart so that you can see it doesn't apply.

The $x off on a purchase of $y typically exclude a bunch of brand names (Lego got me last year) and 3rd party gift cards. They are much more limited than the ones where you get the rewards for a future purchase

Is the offer a true $15 off a $115 purchase or a spend $115 and get back $15 in rewards?

I haven’t received a dollar off coupon at target recently but If it is a true $15 off then add the gift cards you want and see if it automatically comes off.

On the Chase offers and giftcards.com, I activated the offer, confirmed it was showing in activated offers. Made my purchase, which posted with a 12/17 date. The offer is now gone and not showing in the active, expired, or redeemed part of the offers page. In my past experience, that simply means the wheels are in motion for the offer redemption and I expect it will post to the account soon. I believe in the past it would show up under "redeemed" prior to posting to the card itself.

My concern is not that I don’t see a credit - it’s the Nov expiration date on the offer that I added Dec 17, and the fact that the offer is listed under “expired” in the app. But we’ll see!!

Did you save a prior Giftcards.com Chase Offer that expired in Nov and then saved a new offer in Dec?
No. I’ve added one offer ever, this one on Dec 17. I never even look at offers on this card, only checked it because I saw others posting about other Chase cards.

For Target, it is a reward. Sorry for the confusion. I don’t use target that often.

The offers often disappear from added before it changes to redeemed. Mine isn't there and I know I added it. Again it's too soon to worry and there's no way you added an offer that was already expired.

I suspect you’re right, but I have never seen this before. We’ll see! Regardless of outcome, from now on, there will be a screen shot ;).

Just noting, I have another Chase card where I activated the giftcards.com offer in November and did not use it - on that card, it shows as expired. The Chase card I used for this December offer doesn't show the offer anywhere right now. Maybe you activated the November one on a different card and are looking at that card's expired offer? Just a thought. Or maybe you accidentally activated the November offer thinking it was a different Chase card?

No worries. The terminology can be confusing sometimes.

Yes. Gift cards qualify with the exception of target gift cards. Many of us here do it all the time. (Make sure you save the offer before purchasing) and you will receive $15 a target reward that can be spent on almost anything that target sells. There are a few exclusions. You can’t buy another gift card with the $15 and I am pretty sure you can’t buy liquor or cigarettes.
