Talk about gorgeous!!!!! I can't believe how grown up your kids look. I love Alyssa's dress!!!! Where did you find it? Nicholas looks so handsome. And, gee whiz, you are no slouch, either!!! You guys are an incredible looking family!!!!
Thank you!

I got her dress at Burlington, for $20! There were some much prettier ones, which were more expensive as well, but that is the one she picked out. Who am I to argue with a cheaper dress!

Tammi - What a beautiful picture of your family!

Do you know why they decided not to accept the slot?

Multiple reasons. One was financial - the tuition for that school is high, and combined with Sister's increased tuition for Kindergarten and my salary it would really be significant. And it would be that way for 2 years instead of 1 since the slot is in the 3's class and not the 4's. Another reason was that it was an afternoon slot (noon-3 PM) so his dismissal would be the same as Sister's making pick-up a huge challenge every day. And they really like the Jewish aspect of education the kids have gotten in preschool and would like it to continue. Plus putting them both at the same school would really simplify the schedule. So I am not surprised, just unsure of my next move.

Oh, Elizabeth! I'm so sorry! I had hoped they would accept that slot so you could be with your little friends for a while longer! I'll keep my fingers crossed that something (if not perfect, at least doable) will come to you!

Thanks, Glynis! We'll just have to see what happens next.

Why, thank you ma'am!!! May I return the compliment?

So, what's on the agenda with Bob? Got any fun plans??? I'm living through you vicariously! Alan is not so good with the romantic/fun plans. His idea of a great date is a movie where we don't have to talk. I'm slowly breaking him of that habit, but it's a hard row!
Nothing exciting is on the horizon. He is going to have to change his visitation weekends around with his xw because of her work schedule, so now we will be back to having our children on opposite weekends, which will put a cramp in things. But we are just going to have to work through it and see how it goes. Good luck breaking Alan! If anyone can do it, I'm sure you can! :thumbsup2

Ooo, you are raising a price conscious girl. I love that!!! What a smart girl! I love the dress, and can't imagine a prettier one for her! She's got a good eye for what looks good on her!

I got my new Pal Mickey in the mail today. Did anyone still need a copy of the instructions that came with him?

I'd post his picture, but I think you can all pretty much imagine what he looks like :rotfl:. If I ever make or buy him any new outfits though, I will be sure to post pictures.

me, please!

Well, luckily he's not too resistant. I think he's just gotten used to doing things a certain way. The last couple of weeks, he's been more adaptable. I think he's actually starting to enjoy just having a nice dinner, or going for a walk and talking. We'll see how it goes!
