Sorry I've been MIA tonight! It seems like Jacob has come down with the stomach bug that's going around. He's been throwing up since about 7:00 tonight. Poor little guy! And then there's Leslie, our smog level has risen so much that it's considered "unhealthy" to go outside. It's made her breathing really raspy, and she's coughing horribly! Luckily, Katie and Mary seem to have escaped it all for now! I'm keeping Jacob quarantined, so hopefully that will help. I don't know, though! Wish us luck, and pixie dust for a peaceful night!

I hope Jacob and Leslie are doing better today and that the rest of you stay healthy on your birthday!

So I had a bit of a panic, well really I just don't know when the thing is due. I had an assignment due on 1/22 at midnight in my mind that would be right now but before I was thinking it would be 24 hours in the future, so I'm really not sure when it was/is due, so I had to quick do that to make sure if they meant now it was in on time. It is done, it was nothing long but I had forgotten about it and kind of panicked when I decided it might be due so soon.

Since I am tired and rambling, I think I will head to bed now. Good night everyone.

glad you got it done, Becky. I hate when I have those kinds of things strike panic in the pit of my stomach!

On the 11PM news last night they were saying that it wasn't getting above freezing until close to noon.

it is 34 here and Bob waited until it got light and warmer to try to clean off the truck. It took him a while to get the door open to get to the scraper, though. It is done and things are definitely melting now.

ETA: I notice that he did NOT clean off my car.

OK, as much as I would love to stay on here this morning and chat... SOME of us have to get ready for work. I will check in later on this morning after lesson plans are done and I change the message on the answering machine to tell everyone that we ARE having classes today. Unfortunately I cannot access the school's website to put a notice on there that we are having classes and lessons. My boss is flying back from California today and she is the only one who can do that. There are lots of parents who will assume that we are closed since the schools are closed and I am hoping they call the answering machine! I hate teaching classes that are not full.

Deli Platters - Ham, Turkey, Bologna, Salami, American Cheese, Swiss Cheese (what else would you add?) of course the rolls and condiments

Lasagna (but not the typical, wanna make it with Penne noodles)

Macaroni Salad

Cowboy Beans

Fruit & Dip

Veggies & Dip

Bologna, Cheese and Crackers Platter?

Deviled Eggs (because everyone always wants my deviled eggs)

Jello Cake (birthday cake)

Tea, Coffee, Soda, Water

No chips and dip, my family would rather eat the veggies and dip and fruit and dip.

Please tell me what you would add/take away.

Good morning...

School is delayed 2 hrs this morning. We were to get out 2 hrs early but now it is normal dimissal time. And as a bonus I won't get Ty or Hayden to watch today as their dad is keeping them home! So Molly and I get to go out and spend the day shopping and I have to get my bloodwork done.

Bernadette~ that you get better soon!

Glynis~ I hope Jacob feels better and Leslie as well. (I forgot to quote so I hope I got the right girl).

Heidi~ Your menu sounds great except I would do pepperoni with your cheese tray instead of bologna. And thanks for making me crave lunchmeat! I am so dying for a good cold cut sub but it's a no no for me right now

Elin~ Shame on Bob for not cleaning off your car. Eric cleaned ours and our neighbor Gail's off last night and then started my van this morning so it clear it off a little more.
