Good morning, DDA! It is a bit slick outside today so I hope no one will be

. A lot of the local school systems are closed. They should have done a 2 hour delay as it is already above freezing here. I will be teaching this afternoon and evening!

Sorry I've been MIA tonight! It seems like Jacob has come down with the stomach bug that's going around. He's been throwing up since about 7:00 tonight. Poor little guy! And then there's Leslie, our smog level has risen so much that it's considered "unhealthy" to go outside. It's made her breathing really raspy, and she's coughing horribly! Luckily, Katie and Mary seem to have escaped it all for now! I'm keeping Jacob quarantined, so hopefully that will help. I don't know, though! Wish us luck, and pixie dust for a peaceful night!
Here you go :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: (one for each child:) ). I didn't know that you had a lot of smog in UT.

How was your night?

On the 11PM news last night they were saying that it wasn't getting above freezing until close to noon.

Hi everyone! Loving all the wedding photos!

I'm finally all caught up.

We've got that nasty virus thing going around here. DH got it bad Thursday night. He's never sick so it really hits him when he is. I was up with him most of the night and stayed home Friday to care for Emma. I've been feeling pretty queasy the past few days-especially when it hit Joe last night. What a trooper he is-never complained and he was SO sick. Seemed better this afternoon-kept a little food down- but said he wasn't feeling well early this evening and went to bed. Poor Emma. She started complaining that her belly hurt this morning so I had her open her birthday presents this morning before she started vomiting. No birthday cake for her. She hasn't even asked about it. DH went to pick it up this morning but we left it in the car. I don't even think she'll be ready tomorrow. I'm feeling lousy but haven't been vomiting. I'm thinking I'll stay home tomorrow. Noone at works wants to get this. I'm hoping Lizzy doesn't get it but that's not likely as she slept with Emma last night. :scared1:

Tammi-sorry to hear you had to reschedule your coffee.

Chris-:grouphug: Sorry for the loss.

I did take notes so I hope to post more tomorrow. Gotta go to bed now.

Bernadette - I hope you all get to feeling better very soon. :grouphug:

Good morning Elin, Jen and Heidi, and the rest of the DDA!

and Heidi and Jen too!

DH just showed me our old house in the paper. It is up for sale and they are asking a way more than what we sold it for and says they have completely remodeled it. Anyway I told DH I wanted to go look at it and see what they had done to it and he thinks I am crazy. I have a friend in real estate and she would take me over there if I ask her so I would not be wasting anyones time. So I thought I would see what you all thought.
Do it! My parents sold the house I grew up in when they divorced to a couple that was getting it as a wedding present. (Nice wedding present huh?! :scared1: ) They redid the house at $50K, new kitchen, bathrooms, carpeting, installed gas instead of the woodburning stove...sold it two years later for a crapload of money..but it did take them about another 2 years to sell due to the cost of it. It was nice, but they ruined the neighborhood (according to the neighbors) because they never said hi to anyone...it was on a dead end street and everyone knew everyone... I saw it after the renovations - it was hard but nice to see that someone took such good care of it.
Now this I can relate to! We have only had a headboard for about 3 years. We have 3 dressers and a nightstand, none of them match each other OR the bed. I was looking at ads today to see if I could find another dresser that might sort of match the bed. Our newest dresser is from Cargo but I think they went out of business. Our bed came from Foley's, but they don't have that set anymore so we can't buy the rest of the pieces. One dresser and the headboard are pieces my mom bought at the unfinished furniture store when I was growing up, and the last dresser was mine when I was a baby. The old furniture desperately needs to be refinished or replaced, but it just isn't a priority. The nightstands I have looked at are too short because the bed is really tall, so I have just kept the old one.
Should I mention that my current bed used to be a king size waterbed that now is cut down to a queen size with mattress? :rolleyes1

I can't do it.....I am having a heck of a time.....let me try it once more.

Give me 10 minutes and then call the (303)525- number please!!

ETA: It did it!!! Fourth time is a charm!!

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Morning DDA!

Well, Bob is in a WONDERFUL mood since the Bears won - he even offered to go to the next bridal fair with me! OMG! Of course there are no games next week...so that might be why! I'm hoping we'll put a deposit down on tuxes - these shows offer such good deals for tuxes for a refundable $10 down - and we'd guarantee 2007 prices. Seeing the florist on Thursday; I met some yesterday at another local bridal fair and got some estimates on my top two bouquets (which range from $65 up to $185 so I'll definately be shopping around!) And prices are starting to show up for cruising in October 2008! Cross your fingers for a Disney Cruise!!!
It's cold here - snowed last night - but nothing new about that I guess... so have a BEAUTIFUL day everyone! Time to get ready for work!

PS: I'm loving the wedding pics!!!!

Deb, did you have a brain slip? of course Chris will watch the game. :rotfl:
I feel sorry for all the sports widows out there. :grouphug: And sooo happy that John doesn't like sports.

At our house, Bob is the sports widow. :rotfl:

Seriously, when Kathrin was being born I had the TV on in the room and told the doctor that if she did not wait until the Steelers game was over he was going to have to knock me out! Luckily she waited until the next morning... ;)
