Ok ladies and Gents I'm about to bore you with a bunch of wedding photos.
Since Channon was asking about dresses and flowers I picked out a bunch of misc stuff.

The first is decorating the reception hall. We used rose and aqua colored balloons and crepe paper. The table were decorated with rose napkins and each place setting had either a rose or aqua tulle covered champagne glass with almonds. There were 2 vases on each table containing heart shaped chocolate lollipops (that is what I'm arranging in the photo)

Here is our cake. It was a wedding gift from my parents neighbors. Actually my great aunt baked all the cakes and the neighbor did the decorating. We also had napkins and match books printed with hearts, our names and wedding date

Those were our bridesmaids dresses in peach and teal.


At least you all can see what my bridesmaids dresses looked like.

That's what started this tonight. First, the kids stay up late at night so when they get home they are tired and cranky and whiney and fussy. Then Nicholas was getting over his stuffy nose and his dad let him play out in the snow today in his tennis shoes, which are now soaking wet. Needless to say he has been sniffling all evening. The most frustrating part is that I can't stop his stupid way of parenting. Oh well, at least they will get to sleep in in the morning. At least I hope they do!

Glad I'm not the only one that does this!

If it makes you feel better, I have a close friend whose husband isn't involved at all in the kids lives. It is a very bad situation. The kids are in counseling because they are wondering what they did so that dad doesn't want to be in their lives anymore. It is really awful. As bad as it is having him in their lives, be thankful that you aren't having to deal with abandonment issues. I can't tell you how bad it is for them.

It's Le Gateau over off of McKinney and Monticello -- beside Javier's. They have lots of cute cakes with Longhorn themes and the tuxedo strawberries with Longhorns on them. Love that place, but they are pricey.

Ahh - I've heard of it. I may have actually even ordered a cake from them before. Were they formerly located in Preston Center?

That was our honeymoon, too! I'd been several times growing up, but dh had never been before.

And I'd love to see photos!
