Ice cream with actual cake.
Hi all. I have been so busy with the WPASADI contest I have not had time to check in. I have tried to read along whenever I get a chance.
Not sure if I ever posted after we went to court on the bankruptcy but every thing went well for us. Now we just have to wait till it is discharged at the end of February.
I also want to thank everyone for the lovely Christmas cards that were sent my way. They sure did brighten my days.
Evening everyone,
I've been way behind and just now caught up.
Loved the snow pictures of Olivia Jennifer, being in the south too we also get excited about snow.
We had inventory at the store this week and I've been pulling 12 - 14 hour days, I had today off but spent most of it sleeping. The results we not terrible but they weren't great either.
I'm off in a bit to design a picture for my daughter. This weekend is her 21st birthday and with the help of Chanon, (Thank you) we will be taking her on a trip to Vegas during her spring break. Mom and daughter will be going to see Thunder Down Under, so the picture will be of them with some sort of invite on it.It's not my birthday but I'm pretty excited about it.
Have a good evening and stay warm.
Debbie
Well ladies, as it seems the men have gone off else where.![]()
J/K, I know they are busy with work and real life.
Since we have been talking about weddings and proposals, when did you get married?
May 3, 1986 (yes I got married on my birthday).
Hi Becky!!!
How was your day???

Has anyone ever tried to make there own ice cream cake? I thought I would give it a try for my DD, I just figure I'll have to ice it quickly, I thought maybe I should freeze the cake before I ice it?
It was alright. I'm still sick, my poor nose is rubbed so dry and raw from tissues it isn't funny. I'm even using the lotion ones and constanly rubbing my nose with various moisturizers and things but it doesn't help. I should head to bed but am too lazy to get out of the chair I am sitting in.
This is how I make one. I use a big springfold pan. Put about an inch of brownie mix in the bottom and bake, place pan into freezer to cool. Add a 1 inch layer of vanilla ice cream and a layer of hot fudge and a layer of rasberry pie filling and freeze, then do another layer of hot fudge and top with homemade whipped cream. Freeze the whole thing. When ready to serve I take it out for about 5 minutes then remove the side of the pan and voila, instant hot fudge sundae cake. I have never had to throw a single piece away. YUMMY

Christi so good to see you. Hope you are doing well and that things have improved with DH.Hi. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.
I have been gone for a long time and probably will never catch up so I hope everything is going well for everyone.
My computer broke.
and seems like it will stay that way. I am borrowing a laptop from Mike's office until they need it back. Hopefully not for a long time.
I had stored all the DDA contact info. on my computer so wasn't able to call to let anyone know so sorry if I seemed to drop off the face of the earth. I want to thank everyone for the wonderful Christmas cards they have been such a blessing.
We actually got snow here yesterday so the boys have been really enjoying it and Effie didn't know what to think of it all. This was his first time seeing real snow.
Hope everyone's trips were magical.
Christi
Sounds good!!
reminder to self call Dixie!!
I'm finallly caught up. Work was very slow tonight, but that didn't get me home any earlier. I guess I should get to bed as the Mattress guys will be here sometime tomorrow with our new mattress which means I get to wash all the bedding right down to the skirt. I'm actually really excited to get it.
Night All

This just makes me giggle, as one of my mother's dearest friends is named Dixie - and she lives somewhere outside of Denver now!
Your friend didn't live for quite some time in Friendswood, Texas, did she?!
Chanon I made my flowers for my wedding, so I am no help with cost.
I made my flowers too.
Mattie is 3 and Donny is 5. Donny is old enough to know better. Mattie is not too bad when she's by herself. In fact, I babysit her every week, and when Donny is not around, she's a joy! She is polite and respectful (mostly because I make her), but she's learning something from me. Donny is pretty much a lost cause.
I don't like to babysit him, but his parents watched Katie and Jacob while we were in WDW, so I feel like I owe them some "kid swapping." I just forget that I have to keep an eye on Donny all the time. That kid is just a menace!!!
At least I remembered to hide the crayons and scissors! Donny is horrible with scissors. He's cut Mattie's hair 5 times, cut up all their furniture, and destroyed their trampoline.
Alan says the bookshelves will be easy to fix. I hope he's right. I told Donny that my house is not his house, and he may be able to destroy his house, but not mine. From now on, he will only be allowed to sit on the couch at my house. No playing. I told him he's going to have to earn the right to play while at my house, and that means following my rules, being polite, and showing me that I can trust him.
I'm just glad this day of babysitting is over.
And Dole Whips.I am with you on that one! Icky!!!!!
Besides, why spend your money on smoked meat when churros and Mickey bars are so much more yummy!!!!
