I just received this from my DD.
This is my great nephew Remeil.
His Grandmother would be so proud.
I lost my dear sister in law 7 years ago.

I also received some news from my youngest DSD.
I'm going to be a SGM again.
Her 1st, she is due in August.
I asked if she had told her Dad.
Answers yah I sent him a e-mail.
She hasn't always been close to him.
Her & I have always been close.

Congratulations on the new step-grandbaby!!! Any baby is a wonderful thing!

I couldn't see the picture. Boo hoo!

It's nice to see you posting, again!

Anyone have Spirit air nearby? They have some $.32 airfares, Atlanta to Ft. Lauderdale on 9/12 is one of them

There are some from DC to Ft. Lauderdale too.

Deb

I am so tempted to call Tammi, but I know that she is in bed. She could fly her whole family for less Than $50 with taxes.

Hi Heidi. I'm doing okay. Good and bad days, as expected. It still seems a little surreal -- like I almost expect her to call me or walk in the room. I know, pretty weird. It sure does help to have such a wonderful support group here.

How are you?

Hi Marci...:grouphug: :grouphug:

My Mom is gone 4 years and I still find myself getting ready to call her. I had to delete her number out of my cellphone because I would just pick it up and press her number..:sad1: It is just so hard to lose a parent.

they are saying it might ice tonight

Thanks for the postcard Karen!!!:dance3:

Hi Jo. I couldn't see the picture, but congrats on being a DSG!!!

Congratulations Jo! I was not able to view the picture you posted though

Me either. I forgot we were going to have chicken quesadilla's but I wasn't real hungry. Chuck decided to make a hamburger on the George Foreman. Right now, I am going to have hot chocolate with Bailey's and then maybe I'll relax enough to decide what to eat for dinner. Or maybe I'll just have to have some more hot chocolate & Bailey's.

that's my kind of woman!!:thumbsup2

Jennifer, I'm loving all of your pictures tonight. It is so neat to see the excitement of a little one with snow.

I can't wait to see the girls faces when they see the ground again!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

Jennifer...those are great pics!!

Chuck & Becky are watching it. I am sitting in the living room with them with my planning DVD in my laptop and my headset on. I can't stand watching the first couple of the new season. I know in some cases the people really are just there for their 15 minutes but I know there are some that really think they are good singers and are just embarassing themselves. I feel sick to my stomach for those people.

I feel the same way!!

Hi all, I just returned from the church where Daniel's visitation & funeral are being held. I am very proud of my community in showing their support for Robin & family.

Robin was holding pretty good until someone gave her a locket containing some of Daniels hair. She had to leave the line. A nurse came over & took us to a prayer room so Robin could be away from everyone for a moment. A minister came in a said a prayer for Robin. It was very touching as the minister was crying himself.

I know tomorrow will be even harder for her, The funeral is at 10 am. If everyone has a moment tomorrow, will you please say a prayer for Robin & her family.

done and will do!!

I really need some help DDA..

My DS told me that the only thing the baby will be able to do is go to Playhouse Disney. My DGS will be 16 months during the trip. My older grandson was 13 months old during his first trip to Disney. He had a ball. He was very socialized though. He was in daycare at 3 months old. I remember that Playhouse Disney was the highlight, but I know there were other things he could do.

I swear, I am having a brain freeze!!

Add to this... my son's son has never been without his daddy. Ever. Not so they could go to a movie. Not so they could go to dinner. He is a SAHD and doesn't do playdates. I don't think my DGS has ever seen any other children except his cousins.:scared1: :scared1: O M G!!!! What am I going to do????

It is not like I will be able to watch baby K while his parents go on an attraction without him. My only hope will be if he is asleep in the stroller. And if he wakes up and they are not there... the Disney CMs will think I'm abducting him! I mean, he doesn't cry, he wails as if his heart is breaking... face all wet... and that is when I put him on my lap and his hand is still on my son's lap!! I must be nuts!!!

I went to visit them on Sunday. Baby K would not come near me, as usual. He would smile and my and wave at me from his dad's lap or shoulder, but if I even looked like I was going to pick him up WAAAAHHHHHHHHH.

So here is my problem. My son put his foot down. No fireworks for them. No commando marching through the parks! Baby K will be back to the villa by 7:30 so he can unwind, get his bath and be asleep by 8:00. Dinner will be 5:30 at the latest. No problem. He wants to spend a couple of days enjoying the villa, going to the pool and playground, sitting in the sand. He said he and his wife will go to Pleasure Island maybe 1 or 2 nights. (they can get the boat from OKW) then I can pop out and fluff the pillow for you. Otherwise.... no....

Help me. What have I done?????popcorn:: popcorn::

Cute little snowman, but I thought that everything is bigger in Texas :rotfl2:

:rotfl2:

Jennifer, I loved the pictures too including the "snow angel" Olivia was trying to make. Although I don't wish any additional accumulation for my Texas friends I do hope Olivia gets enough snow to roll around in next time!

I'm off to bed. I'm exhausted and I have another early morning tomorrow. Talk to you tomorrow night. Prayers & pixiedust: for all that need it and even those that don't! Love ya all!

REMEMBER YOUR COAT, VIcki. :thumbsup2

Well, Miss Steffy... this is a fine kettle of fish! Forgive me for not remembering, but who all is going on this trip with you? Hopefully there will be enough other people there for you to enjoy. I say let your DS and his little family fend for themselves and YOU go enjoy yourself at WDW. In a few years there will be HE LL to pay for that poor little baby. He will have to interact with other people and the adjustment period at that point will be excruciating. for you and shame on them!
