Good morning :cold:

Remember me saying I could not get my vehicle up the drive? Well We were awoken this morning to 2 police cars sitting around my vehicle which had slid into the street :scared1: Dh had to do a skateboard stance & slide down the driveway :rotfl: I can laugh now beings he did not fall.

My vehicle is now parked across the street. I called work & had some guys bring some salt & a spreader over. So dh is now outside, hopefully it will melt enough.

We were hit with more ice last night & the salt trucks have not been out yet. The roads do not look to good. Everyone that has this storm coming or are getting it now, please be careful!!!!!!!!!

If it's still freezing, salt doesn't do any good. It is only wasted money. The temperature has to be at least a certain point for the salt to do any good.

Hope Kristin feels better tomorrow pixiedust:

Enjoy your dinner out!

If you all wondering what I am doing here and not in Richmond it is because Kristin is not feeling well. She is very nauseous and having major gastrointestinal issues. We opted to wait until tomorrow morning to go back to make sure she doesn't have the nasty norovirus that is running rampant all through the USA! I told her that there is no way I would let her infect her roomies.

So, everything is packed, she is back in bed and Kathrin is on her way up to Fredericksburg to go out to dinner with Bob and me. We were all looking forward to a super dinner at a Mediterranean tapas place in Richmond called "Europa" and Kathrin was not about to give up a good meal out at our expense. ;) We will be eating at a snazzy local restaurant called Claiborne's which is located in the train station downtown. We haven't eaten there since our 30th wedding anniversary!

Yeah, but I don't have much room!

If I can fit 11 people in my little one bedroom married student housing apartment, we can fit a good portion of the DDA in your house. :rotfl2: My brother slept in the narrow kitchen, 2 aunts & their husbands slept in the living room/dining room (after we stacked the dining chairs on the table), my mom, dad & sister slept beside our bed and my other brother slept at the foot of our bed. Before I get in trouble for not giving up my bed, no one would take it!!!!! It was offered to both sets of aunts & uncles & my parents.

It warmed up enough today, so it melted some. Now it is raining, which will probably turn to ice :sad2: The good thing is that I do not work tomorrow!

Has anyone ever had to deal with jaw pain? Mine started bothering me about a week ago, one one side up by the ear, where the upper and lower jaw meet. I assumed I slept crooked or something and that it would go away. I hasn't. In fact, it's getting worse. Now I can't even bite down without a stabbing pain. It's painful to eat. I have to take small bites and chew delicately because if I go too fast/hard it really hurts. If I move my lower jaw just the right way, it now kinda pops. It also hurts when I yawn. Do I see my regular doctor for this, a dentist, or what? Any advice?

Hopefully someone can help you out here. Sounds painfull, hope your jaw gets better soon pixiedust:

I had severe jaw pain every time i got a sinus infection..

are you clenching your teeth that you are aware of? or you may be grinding your teeth at night...I clench mine together when I am: mad, sad, irritated, stressed etc etc etc...so I tend to have jaw pain..of if I move my jaw back and forth it makes a clicking noise...see a dentist. You may need a mouth guard for nights...I have just tried to be more conscious of what I am doing...and it has helped.

I'm home & I made it up the driveway :yay:

Glad to hear you made it home safely and your car is ok. Well at least you can slide out of the driveway if you need to leave.:rotfl2: :rotfl:

I can rarely get out of the my driveway, the roads might be ok, but I have a heck of a time getting out of the driveway. I always hope I can stop at the bottom.

If we're having a snow day, I either want it to be a day I have no plans or no work, or at least a foot so the complex I work in actually closes. I have had to go when their has been about 6 + inches of snow and their parking lots are unplowed and I had a heck of a time getting in them as they have an incline to them and they don't have sidewalks and anything else shoveled.

pixiedust: pixiedust: that Kristin is feeling better soon.

Tammi glad you got your lightbulbs changed. Hope your jaw feels better soon.

So they came and switched our security company today. They switched the box, well everytime I tried to set the alarm today to leave I kept tripping the alarm. I called the new company, well they don't have any record of our account, so they couldn't do anything for me. So I called another company, same thing. They told me I had to contact the installing company, well they didn't even leave any contact information, so this should be fun. Hopefully my manager will deal with it tomorrow, yeah right. I always get stuck dealing with this stuff, as it always seems to happen to me. I tried calling my manager well I ended up leaving a message on her cell phone and she never got back to me. I have a feeling I will be getting a call tomorrow morning.

So my reflux has been horrible today, but I'm not sure if it is all reflux or if I actually have a sore throat and it is being bothered by the reflux. Either case I haven't felt that great all day.

Hope you all had a good day.

Nothing that I am aware of. See....I turned 40 and now I'm falling apart.

I'm sorry that I don't have any advice for you. I hope it feels better soon, though! pixiedust:

I was wondering where you were!! close game, great ending!

It felt like I was watching the Superbowl!
The Chargers are a great team, and probally should have won the game. New England got some luky breaks for sure! The Chargers were also the heavy favorite to win. Hope is still alive for my Superbowl XX rematch! By the way, what did you think of the Superbowl Shuffle?
