We are home. Actually we've been home for awhile but I just now sat down to relax. The show was okay. Not one of the better ones I've seen there. The boy who played Edmond could have been better. We had a good time though. I got both kids a tshirt from the disney store. Ours were on sale for 5.29. They both got new jammies too, since they were 7 and change. Then I discovered that I have a brake light out. After we got home I had Nicholas sitting in the driver's seat, tapping on the brake so I could figure out what was going on. All I knew was the indicator on my dash was telling me that something was out. So I discovered that the drivers side brake and the center top brake light were both out. I pulled out the owners manual and changing it "looks" pretty self explanatory. Of course, that could all change once I get into the middle of things. So after Mass tomorrow I need to head to a parts store and buy 2 lights. I wonder how much that is going to cost me. While I was doing dishes tonight one of the recessed bulbs in my kitchen ceiling blew too. What's up with these light issues I'm having??? Is someone trying to tell me something? I wonder........

Off to catch up now.

My dad has been visiting me the last week. I have had two bulbs over my kitchen sink go out a couple of days apart. They were not put in at the same time so should not have burned out so close together.

Welcome back Ellen! I hope someone posts some pictures, we are all waiting

Sorry to hear you are not feeling well :guilty:

Tammi - There is plenty for you, too! But I see Becky has already generously provided you with your own dish of vanilla ice cream!:)

Has anybody ever been to Medieval Times? DS just saw a commercial that kids are free in January. I have been looking for something special/fun for him to invite a friend to, and I think that might be kind of nifty. I looked up the info on their website - kids are usually $36 EACH! So if DH and I pay full price then DS and a friend can go for free. Then they have all these "upgrades" you can add like preferred seating, a "knight" ceremony, so on and so forth. Of course that cranks the price up $10-$20 more per person.

Just wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS!! to Glynis and her DH Alan!! I read enough to find out that you finished the 1/2 marathon, way to go!!:thumbsup2  :cool1: We were at EPCOT that morning and I looked for you, but there were sooo many people!

We had a great time talking with you at dinner, just wish we had even more time to chat! I'm glad you had a good trip.

Our Disney Store had some at $6.99 less 25% or $5.24 and ones that had sort of chalk painting images of characters for $4.99 less 25%. Glad to hear you found something. Which ones did you buy?

:wizard: good luck with the brake lights.

I was there years ago. You are not given silverware, so you must eat with your hands. The food was pretty good and the show was nice. I went in band in 11th grade to the one in the Chicago area, not sure if it is there anymore. Somehow we ended up in the front row, lets just say it was nice to be right in the action except when the horses decided to do their business right in front of our faces as we were trying to eat.

We went to this while in Florida. We did not take the kids with us, this was our adult night out :) We all enjoyed it though & the food was ok. They take your picture when you go in & at some point try selling them to you. Normally I do not buy these, but the pictures looked so funny sil & I had to buy them, we could not stop laughing :rotfl: Beware they offer plenty of other things to sell as well for the kiddos.

You are given a crown with a certain color on it & this is the section you sit in & the color you cheer for. Your food is served with no eating utensils. All the children that were there seemed to enjoy it as well. If kids are free, I say go for it!

Is he taking design requests yet?

I hope not. He still asks way too many questions :rotfl2: I was amazed at how he played with all the options until he got the exact firework that he wanted. He changed the color, size, points, tail and i have not idea what else. He still has trouble erasing backgrounds so He asks for help with that.

So I had a talk with my friend yesterday about "our" trip. She told me she's looking for a new job. She's been where we are for 10 years. Originally she thought she'd be there 1 but then she got "comfortable" there and then at about 5 years her Mom was diagnosed with Alzhiemers so she spent all her energy taking care of her Mom-she was in assisted living. And at the same time was rebuilding her own home. Then she started looking for a new job again and her Mom died. She's been busy settling her estate the past year and a half. Now she feels she's ready again. I really hope she finds something. I will miss her but she's currently driving 55 miles each way to work and its not an easy comute-awful traffic. She says she will absolutely go if she doesn't have a new job.

So I told my DH she was looking for a new job and that I wanted to go alone and he wasn't bothered by that at all. I've got the room booked and will keep my eyes out for good airfare. My friend can decide to join me at anytime. I think she may very well join me but I'm not afraid to go alone.

Nicholas got a Power Rangers shirt and Alyssa got one with the princesses. She really wanted one that was only Ariel but they didn't have her size. So she settled for Ariel pajamas. For some reason she is going through an Ariel phase now.
