Well, I've got the sheets changed on Nicholas and Alyssa's beds, 2 loads of laundry going, and now I'm going to get in the shower and get ready to go to the show. Afterwards I think we will swing by the Disney store to check out the shirts. Have a good afternoon everyone.

Car dealerships make me laugh. The sales guy called BEGGING me to come in today (as I was digging in my purse for his # so I could call to cancel). He said the dealership is empty, they haven't sold a car all day, they will give me an incredible deal. Well, could it be because the temp is barely above freezing and it is pouring rain? So I told him the deal is this: Zero out my last 10 lease payments so we start from a clean slate and we'll come in today. Five minutes later the phone rings. It is the finance guy calling to tell me NOT to come in today, they need to do some number crunching and find out what they can offer before we make the drive out there. The truth comes out!

He said they still have some '06 models that have 1.9% financing, so that might be a way to go. We'll see. He said there is no way the lease company will just waive my last 10 payments, either. Well, no deal then! He is going to call me next week to tell me what he can do. I suspect it won't be anything! Leases aren't designed to be terminated early!

At 2 AM DH came in the bedroom and said "Where's my hat thing?" 1. I was ASLEEP when he asked me. 2. What on earth is a "hat thing"? The first thing that came to mind was the plastic cage thing that you put baseball caps in to wash them. WHY would he want that at 2 AM?! I mumbled something at him and he went away. Then he came back. "Where's my black hat? The one I took to Disney?" OK, now we're getting somewhere. It is not a "hat THING" at all, it is an actual HAT. But I don't know where it is. It doesn't belong to me, I haven't had it, I don't know where it is. That made him mad. I still haven't worked out why it is my fault that he can't find his hat. He and DS never pick up anything, they never make any sort of attempt to tidy up, so if they can't find their things that is not MY fault.

I was looking on the budget board and found this for best buy. book lights with tink, ariel and lighting mcqueen for 2.74 plus they had somecolor changing night lights for 2.74 and a couple of handheld games ariel, cars and toy story for 2.74.
Thought I would let you know.

I'm glad that you didn't get all the way out there to find that out!

We decided not to travel this weekend which means the weather between here and Buffalo won't be bad at all. Anyone in those areas can thank me for staying home.

It's a balmy 50 degrees here. I'm starting to feel guilty with this mild weather we are having, when so many of you are buried under inches of snow, or expecting bad weather. Oh well, guilt over!!!

Actually, I did, Jennifer! I had to go to the bank and the post office this morning (mailed a package to Littleton, Colorado ) and it was so nice out that I decided to take a walk downtown. It was beautiful!

Stopped into one of my favorite shops downtown and bought a new jacket and matching shell on sale. Even better!

I am seriously thinking of taking a nap now. I NEVER nap, but Ithink I will end up really cranky if I don't.

Beth - I am glad you decided to stay home. You just never know with winter weather. I thought it was interesting how the sales guy was all set to promise whatever, then the finance guy was jumping on the phone to tell me not to come in today! And DH keeps lecturing me about all sorts of car stuff like I don't have a brain in my head. I am the one who negotiated all the details of the purchase on HIS car! Now he thinks I can't make car decisions? I am glad we aren't going anywhere today, though.

Swan is out there in the lake - apparently the weather isn't bothering him. He looks so pretty. The trees are all bare and the water is gray. He looks very majestic with his white feathers against the dreary backdrop. I love that my window overlooks the lake. There are 2 swans, but they are only together about half of the time. I usually just see one.
