Chris and I are trying to decide where to make reservations for our anniversary. We will have the boys with us and we love WCC, but we would also like to try Le Cellier and Concourse Steakhouse. We will probably do a character breakfast that morning too. I think we will have the DDP for 2 days later in the trip so we could try the other restaurants then. So WWYD?

We love Le Cellier! I would definitely make plans to eat there if you can. The atmosphere is much nicer than Concourse Steakhouse and a lot quieter than WCC!

Perfect for an anniversary dinner, even with the kids.

I like Le Cellier (but I don't think it necessarily is worth the raves so many give it). I haven't done Concourse yet. What are y'all's favorite foods? Jonathan and I have really enjoyed California Grill, Citricos, Boma, and Yachtsman Steakhouse (Yachtsman was the best steak I've had on Disney property, hands down).

Are you trying to stay away from Signature Dining? I read somewhere the other day (maybe from one of you - I can't remember) to just have 1 person use the DDP for a signature restaurant, and have the other person buy an entree OOP - you can then share the dessert and appetizers, and you're still just out 2 credits. Maybe the boys could share a couple of entrees too? There was more food at Yachtsman than we could eat!

I also liked Narcoossee's a lot. Jonathan hasn't done it with me, but my mom and I did it for our birthdays a couple of years ago.

I agree that the best steak I have had on WDW property was at Yachtsman in December. But, I would only ever go there and pay OOP because there is no way that the Signature restaurants are worth the money on the DDP. The appetizers and desserts, although wonderful were not large enough to share with 4 people so I don't think that would work for us either. Next time we use the DDP we will not book a Signature restaurant for the trip. We actually lost money this past time because of doing that and that has never been a problem for us adventurous big eaters before!

we went to the playhouse Disney breakfast and the Bippity Boppity Boutique

and we LOVED both of them!!!

These are now on my must do list for next time we go!

Does anyone do garage sales very often? What items are the best sellers? Between the stuff I need to get rid of, the stuff my sisters have left behind and my mom's basement we have TONS of stuff that needs to go. Enough that we don't have anywhere to put is anymore. My sister's girl scout troop will do a garage sale fundraiser in the spring so we want to save stuff for that. However if there are certain things that just don't sell at yard sales (or won't sell for enough to make them worth the space their taking up now) I would rather just take them to the Goodwill store and get some space cleared around here.

We have done very well with children's clothes in good condition, larger kid's toys in good condition. Anything related to baby,(toys, clothing, high chairs, playpens).

We tried both of those places last time we went. We liked both of them, but Le Cellier was a little better JMHO. The only problem with Concourse is, Leighanna could see and hear Chef Mickey's. She thought that we were going there. She complained that she wanted to see Mickey the whole time we were there, so I don't remember loving that meal so much!

Remember my October 06 cruise for work? I had checked when I was on the ship to see if I qualified for the Castaway Club. They had told me that because it was a "work function" that I don't qualify. I called yesterday afternoon and got my Castaway Club ID number!!! I'm offically apart of the Castaway Club with Disney! Sounds trivial, but with a different checkin line, free gifts and a captains cocktail party I think I might have Bob hooked!

I'm beginning to think we're spreading germs around here, with so many of us under the weather. Hopefully everyone will feel better today.

Kate - loved the pictures, good choice to buy the CD, you have way too many great shots to choose just a few.

Deb - I'm so sorry to hear about your cousin We have been to both Concourse and LeCellier and had great food and service at both. I think I'd go back and check out the menus at AllEars and see what they offer for the kids. DH is also a picky eater and he would vote for Concourse, simply because the food was more "normal".

Steffy - Sorry to hear about the rug catastrophe, but that just means you have to take another trip to Disney to replace it. PD that you are feeling better and things go well at work for you today.

Theresa - PD for you too, hope your migraine eases and you get your report completed.

Elizabeth - PD for you and your job situation also.

I'm really torn about something at my job also. I worked at another store before Katrina and it was completely flooded and did not reopen for over a year, so I was transferred into the store that I am at. I took the HR position as it was available and the job that I did prior, Office Manager, was already filled by a girl that has had it for several years. The Store Manager that I was working for was also transferred into this store as the one that was there was out on medical and unfortunately had to retire because of it. Here's the delimma, the Store Manager is very unhappy with the Office Manager and wants to move her out and put me in that position. I would be much happier with the position but I don't want it at someone elses expense. Over the past year I have tried several times to work with her and show her how to do things the way he likes them done, she still doesn't get it done. I just feel like a snake in the grass taking the position.

I'm open for any opinions

I have a question for everyone now! I was over on the cruise boards and I think I got a solution worked out for a way for us to take a 7 night cruise with Disney AND not have to wait a week. That's the good news. The bad news - we'd visit the same islands again! We'd do the 4 night Sunday to Thursday, then the 3 night Thursday to Sunday. Any opinions? It's not the best solution - but it might work...

Debbie - here's my take on the situation. You are not the snake. The other girl had ample opportunity to improve her work. She did not take advantage of that. If the SM wants her removed, it is due to her substandard work. If that happens to benefit you, take advantage of the opportunity.

Since you would be doing the same islands, could you do the 4 night with disney , then see what other ships are sailng out of that port to see if u can get another 3 night with different islands
