Deb,

I loved Concourse Steakhouse. I think the meal was made more special because of the company... that's where I met Vicki and Chuck. And for 1 credit it was great. And I think the kids would like it too. They would feel very comfortable there. Not :snooty: :snooty: There were a lot of families there.

Now California Grill... WOW. The food was excellent and the EXPERIENCE was excellent. There were a few kids there, but it didn't have a family dining feel. Some people take the "business casual" to almost prom dress level:scared1: :scared1: Both times I dined there, I saw Wishes and we didn't get out of there until 10:30, 11:00. The MK was closed both times which made travel interesting. The first time Terry and I took a cab back to POFQ. Kevin and I got the bus back to DTD and then the bus to OKW. Made for a REALLY long evening.

I have ADRs at CG for my son's 10th anniverary. Our ressie is for 5:30 as we'll have the kids ages 10, 3 and 1. :) :) I have a feeling the "feel" is going to be different. It won't be dark and I don't think it will be as breathtaking. But there is no way we can get a babysitter and my son won't leave his son with me and his cousins. The kid has never been without his parents. Ever. They have not gone to a movie, out to dinner, nowhere. If they are over my house and my son goes to the bathroom, the kid cries like he's being abducted. :sad1: :sad1: I'll let you know how that turns out.....:goodvibes

ETA, you asked about Le Cellier! Loved it too. Definitely a family place. The boys would be comfortable there. Food was great, especially for 1 credit. YUM!!!

I don't think we'll be doing any signature meals. I am a very picky eater so I am finding it hard to find restaurants that have apps, entres and desserts that I would eat. The kids are picky eaters too. Chris will eat more than we will, but he is still not very daring. That is one of the reasons that we would only do the DDP for 2 days, we wouldn't eat enough otherwise to make it worthwhile. I think that we will probably try all 3 restaurants during the trip, it is just which restaurants on which days. The kids have each requested an character meal and all 3 want to to WCC. We have a lot of counter service places that we like and some that we haven't tried in the past so we'll enjoy trying those too. I find that I am much happier preparing a quick meal at home than spending hours in a restaurant. The kids are very well behaved in restaurants, but if it were a daily thing I'm sure they would easily get bored.

I am also very concerned that if we have the DDP for too many days we would continually over eat just because the food is free. I've worked way to hard to lose this weight to put it all back on during our trip. Chris too.

Time for me to head to bed. The kids will have me up bright and early, well it hasn't been too bright in days, but it sure feels early.

OOOH!! I hope we can get there at the right time to do WCC with you all.

Oh no!!! Is it salvagable or replaceable? I'm so sorry Steffy. Not what you needed right now, I'm sure.
Thanks so much Tia!!!:cloud9: :cloud9:

Oh Tia....:rotfl2: :rotfl2: "Is it salvagable or replaceable?" I just have to laugh. It is hanging out on my clothesline drying so it will fit in a trash bag. I have little light blue pieces of rug everywhere. Up my stairs, little wisps slid under my sink as I was hauling it out. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I had tried to shampoo it, and the stains wouldn't come out. My grandkids dropped something on it. They didn't mean it, so I am determined not to make a big deal out of it. But I think of it out there on the clothesline in pieces..... :laundy: :laundy: and I'm just cracking up. I loved that rug, but not enough to make my grandkids feel bad for ruining it.... But it really couldn't look more pitiful.. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I opened the washer and peeked in and thought, this doesn't look good. :laundy:

I think that rug was meant for a wall, not a floor, especially a floor with kid access. Oh well....

You have no idea how much you helped me through this tonight. Just those few little words, and then I was able to see the humor in it. Because I was staring at the naked hardwood floor and I was so sad....

I think I should stop writing now, because I can imagine you are shaking your head saying, I didn't say anything witty, Steffy is losing her mind. But Tia, trust me, your words helped me more than you'll ever know.... :cloud9: :cloud9:
