The DDA Trouble Free Zone Part 2

Yesterday, Kevin discovered a DEAL through Delta...with our frequent flyer miles and this break in price, all three of us (we always buy Alyssa a seat) could fly to Disney for $286.18 round trip.

The only catch is the trip has to be completed by March 31st, so Kevin suggested Tuesday, March 21 through Tuesday, March 28.

This is killing me!!! I had resigned myself to no more Disney trips until the new baby was at least 6 months old. Yes, we're getting a nice tax return, but half of that is going to the termite problem. We're supposed to be looking for a new home, so the new baby actually has a bedroom!

What to do...what to do. Right now my heart says yes, and my brain says, "Are you out of your mind?!!"

Amy I say go for it. A nice vacation is just what the doctor ordered. LOL. You sure can't beat the price of the airfare.

Yes you are out of your mind but GO, GO, GO!!!! This would be the last trip with just Alyssa. Since you are going Tues - Tues you can take it slow and actually enjoy it the time just the 3 of you. You of course will need some new maternity t-shirt designs. I am sure the Queen could help you out with that.

Amy -- My DH likes to tease me when I find good deals like that, because I once told him I'd be losing money (since I'd probably buy it sooner or later anyway) if I didn't take the great deal. My answer would be to do it if it's easy to work it all out.

Good morning my DDA friends. I am in need of some of that pixie dust. My DS5 is home sick with a cold. He threw up a while ago and asked me for some throwup medicine. We leave in 9 days and I sure hope this will run its course on both of use before we go.

Here you go. That virus seems to keep resurfacing in our house too. Maybe some Florida Sunshine and Disney Magic is all you need.

Hi all!! I've been lurking for awhile on this thread but wanted to jump in and say hi!! We live in TN and are in the midst of first time trip planning (actually I am!). I've also used up my free photo impact trial and now have to bite the bullet and buy it at some point. We've had the sickness go through our house and are just getting over it!! About a month ago virus with throwing up then onto coughing and sinus infections with a side of pink eye (for all of us, except DS,6yr old). Finally coming out of it and hope we've had our share with no sickness before or during our trip!! Here's hoping everyone who is sick now is on the mend soon!

Well.... I got at least an 83 on my test. Not so hot, but I'll take it, consdiering the morning I had! I was leaving at EXACTLY the same time as I always do on Monday mornings, when I couldn't find my keys for about 10 minutes. Then I got to my car and scraped ice off for 5 minutes. Then I tried to open my frozen doors for 5 minutes. Needless to say, I was a little stressed on time. Then about 3 miles from my house my check gauges light comes on. Ok, I think I'll make it.... but if I happen to get to that station near school with 6 minutes left I'll get some gas.

Well, with a little speeding and lucky traffic breaks, I make it in time. I LITERALLY put the gas nozzle in and almost begin pumping.... when I realize (thankfully) I don't have my purse!?!?! So I get BACK in the car, and focus on getting to the test in time. I'm able to borrow almost $3.00 in change from a friend, but have no time to look over any notes before the test starts.

I take the test, think I utterly failed it, look over the key to see if I can remember what I answered and get an idea of how terribly I did.......

and am quite pleased

So I go, ask for $3.00 of gas (thankful that I'll probably never see those attendants again), and am on my merry way.

Although I wouldn't buy Alyssa the ticket - I think a Tuesday flight would not be crowded and you could get her a seat without paying for one!!

ARGH! I haven't gotten email updates from any of the threads on the DIS in I don't know how long! I can never remember what page I'm on when I have to come in the front door so I'm missing a ton.
