The DDA Trouble Free Zone Part 2

Tammi - when I lived in DC - I had numerous brushes with fame!! I danced with Newt Gingrich when he was speaker of the house, I met Bob Dole, went to one of President Clinton's state of the union, Chris Farley came and imitated Newt Gingrich at one of the meetings my boss was running - I was sitting right behind Chris Farley and ended up on all the national evening news programs AND Entertainment Tonight!!! My phone rang off the hook that night!!

So I am thinking I should open a business to travel to all of your houses and make built ins for you guys!!! What would you all pay me??!!?? and would you watch my kids while I did it?

I guess what else would we expect from the QUEEN but rubbing elbows with celebrities!

I would love one of your built-ins and be happy to watch Julia and Nick for you. Unfortunately, that pay thing might be a little tougher (dh hates to part with money), and I could never have you actually see my house! It needs a super good cleaning and a bunch of minor repairs before anyone is allowed in.

We taped it last time it was on, but I can't seem to convince my husband that it is something we want to keep. He kept asking dd tonight if she finished watching it yet, so he could use the tape. She said, "No," even though she has seen it more than once. I told him that I haven't watched it yet, and he just rolled his eyes. I probably won't get to watch it tonight, but I will watch it to see what all the fuss is about.

I love being in the Western Time Zone some times....I have 4 hours until I have to tape High School Musical!! We are going to the School District Jazz Festival tonight....Cassidy is playing her flute in her school's Jazz Band. She only received her music last week because the director had to make up her part. Hope my ears can make it!! Nah...she's a great player and I am proud of her!!

Everytime I go to Disney - I look for the perfect bag - I have recently given in and gone with the old fanny pack - but it isn't really what I want

so I am thinking about designing and making the perfect Disney bag and if I find it is feasible sell them on ebay - so I thought that I would get all of you to give me input on what would be your perfect Disney bag

I imagine there would be different needs for people with strollers, without, with small kids, no kids - maybe it will be a whole line - but it seems to me people are always asking what kind of bag to get to take in the parks

so my goal is to find out what people want in thier disney bags and what price point they would be willing to pay

here are my must haves:

must hold camera, cell phone, fast passes seperate from the money, my small binder, be comfortable and easily accessible -

I also need a bag for my kids though - it must hold an extra set of clothes, their pins a few activities = a backpack usually suits my needs just fine and I can get Disney ones at the disney store so a custom one would not appeal as much to me - but maybe you all have idea of what would attract you to a custom bag for your kids

so do you all get the idea now? you can either post your ideas here or pm me

and if you think my idea is not very good - I would love to know that too!!! If you all think it is a bad idea - it might save me some time!!!

and if you all give me totally different must haves - maybe I will find the best idea is custom made to order bags!!

Glynis and Midnite You both have such beautiful kids. Glynis how ever did you get all 4 to stand still at the same time? I have been to the picture place several times trying to get a good picture of the boys. I just want one where they all look up at the same time.

The promise of Easter Dinner was being held over their heads. It also helps that they are all little camera hogs. Funny little things.

I just got tix to Ringling Bros Circus. Anyone ever been?

It is really fun, take the kids early to interact with the animals and clowns etc.

Take lots of money cause your kids will want all that fun expensive stuff that we throw out afterwards!!

Well apparently she has checked another thing off her "things to do" list since my surprise visit yesterday--#2 write a quiz to test the DDA over High School Musical.

Sorry Kate, we will not be recording or watching this tonight...the DVR is already set up to record two other shows at 9 p.m. I guess I'm destined to fail your quiz.

I think I will post the trivia test tomorrow morning (or sometime this evening) and have you all pm me the answers - and these will not be questions that you can look up on the internet - they will be VERY detailed about the movie!!!

That way you can all participate!!! HMMM...maybe I will pm you all the quiz and you have 1/2 hour from the time you open your pm to send me back the answers - that will stop people from cheating and watching the movie while answering the questions!!

This is very exciting news here at our house today.

I grew up in a very close knit neighborhood where everyone knew everyone and we all hung out at the golf course and pool together all summer. Upon graduating from college - I accepted an internship with one of the men in our neighborhood who was a member of congress. His name is John Boehner

Lo and behold - guess who was John's staff counsel?!? My DH

I was offered a full time job and Steve and I proceeded to fall in love - we moved back to cincinnati where I worked on the campaign

So, today we received confirmation about why our living room wall is falling apart. Yep, we have TERMITES!!! Luckily, they seem to have isolated themselves to the one wall, but it's still going to cost $1250 to get rid of them, plus however much it will cost us to replace the wall. GRRRRR!!!

It's on from 8-10, so our DVR won't let us record it, Miss Know-it-all! Find me another time it's on...that doesn't conflict with all the shows we'll be watching for February sweeps.

Last night my mom and I went to an organization seminar - it was very informative - I hope to get my house there this spring - I HATE all the clutter but never seem to know what to do with it!

That's what I need, I always say the house is bulging at the seams, I am such a shopper and hoarder so it never is clear of clutter.

Ok, his name is Brian Wilson. Actually, "C. Brian Wilson". Destined to be someone important, I suppose

He was pre-law and worked on a few of Boehner's campaigns thorughout school... so sometime between 1999-2001. I doubt you'd know him, but I thought it was interesting! He also went to Washington to do something for him, but we don't know those details. I wonder if Kyle has a picture or something, or if it would even have been possible that you guys had met
