I was a cheerleading coach in a program where the girls did not have the desire to be cheerleaders - talk about hard and frustrating!! I understand wanting a program to be successful and it being out of your control
Yeah, that was my sqaud the first time around. It's VERY hard. This made me sad in a different way, because they DID all love cheering. With the exception of one girl, who didn't surprise me a bit by quitting. Her excuse was "cheerleaders are stupid". Um.... then why have you been one for 3 years?!
Whatever, I remember high school. Girls are temporarily insane for those 4 years (sorry to any moms of high schoolers
I'm sure it's just girls at our school!
)But anyway.... a few of these girls loved cheering more than anything. They still have competitive squads, so that's good..... but it just breaks my heart to know it got THAT bad to where they felt they had no other options

I know this isn't a life-or-death thing, and they'll all be just fine. I just did such a good job preparing myself for the whole "she ISN'T you, it WILL be different, but different is ok" speech I was giving myself. But I guess I studied the wrong stuff!

to you. I know it is just one of those things that will eat at you for a while, but I hope you will be ok with it after some time goes by.

) So you don't have to put spoiler alert out for me!!
