Where in Vermont are you? I'm from Mexico but I studied 10th grade (1985-1986) in Newport, VT. I have so many wonderful memories from my stay there. I dream of going back some day.

I'm from the White River Jct. area. Newport is about 2 1/2 hours north of us. There is usually much more snow up there, but I'm hearing that they don't even have any this year

For those that have asked - I gently broached the DVC subject as we were getting ready for bed last night. I said that I legitimately wanted to talk about it in the next day or two, and didn't want him to dismiss it until he'd heard me out. I said you know me - I would never in a million years be proposing that we do this right now (particularly since we won't be back to Disney until likely late 2007) if I didn't think it made some sense and was a good deal. He agreed we could talk about it Friday night.

But then laying in bed, out of the blue he starts asking questions about what type of accomodations? how many points would it cost to do this at this time of year? where else can we go? and we could rent points out if we weren't going to use them?

OK - OK - it took me forever to find this post again. Must be old age creeping in, but it was Tinkaroo that said she was talking with her husband on Friday night, not UPDisney. So slap my hand with a wet noodle!!

Meanwhile, back in the batcave....

What did your husband think Tinkaroo?????

ETA: Oops! I thought you meant you were coming to Virginia! It is about 6 1/2 hours to my Mom's part of PA, so thanks for the encouragement, Terry!

I appreciate all of them....it's just so frustrating because it was a VERY frustrating year last year: financially and in our relationship and we were finally getting over those speedbumps and voom!! they knocked me on my hiney again!!


I will get over my anxiety eventually and be a better person for it...thanks for letting me vent!!
