Winter in Vermont. It was 50 degrees here today. I finally got out and took down all our outside decorations. Can you believe that this is the first nice weekend day we have had since Christmas. It either is 10 degrees or pouring rain. Glad to have that done. Now we are going through all our new DVC info. So exciting. . To get the most of our points it looks like 2 weeks in a one bedroom in July 2007 and 3 weeks at the campground in June 2008. That should be about 35 days off an annual pass. That sounds like the best use of our disney $$.

I was sitting in the waiting room, waiting for my DD, and the nurse who was attending her saw my big blue Unlock the Secret box. And we started talking. She's a Disney fanatic too. Owns 700 points!

Marti, I think I remember from some previous posts that I'm a year or two farther down the hill then you are. Of course, you have another advantage by having a younger child. Kids always seem to age you no matter what you say to others.

Oh, I thought it was Dallas/Fort Worth...

I'm playing catch-up, so someone may have mentioned this, but DFW doesn't have that great of airfare to many places because of Love Field (original airport in DFW and closer to downtown Dallas) and the Wright amendment. Southwest Airlines can't fly non-stop to any state (except St. Louis because of some new law) that doesn't border it, so American doesn't have to lower their airfare to compete.

There is a lot of debate now because Southwest wants the Wright amendment repealed so they can compete head to head with American.

What did DH say when you were to sit down and talk about it on Friday night???

That was one of the other DDA (can't remember which one right now). My DH is all for it but doesn't think we can afford it until the end of the year. I'm just antsy and have never been known for my patience. He is all set to go on the tour with me when we are there in March (actually I think he is going because he is afraid to send me on my own unless my right hand is busted or taped shut with duct tape). He does realize the benefit because we have been a week every year now for three years. We could be almost half way to paying it off! Don't they say 7 years in the commercials?
