Wow. Isn't that extreme for you?

It is extreme! I had to crush the crackers and everything! (I looked for the pre-crushed ones but they were out.) The thing is, there is a picture of this dessert on the Cool Whip and it looks really yummy. I dind't realize there would be so much softening and thawing and so forth involved. At least there was no zest. Zest is my nemesis.

My kids finally went to bed. They are so excited I don't think that they will be sleeping for awhile though. They made cards for Santa, left notes, milk and cookies, cheese doodles (noodles as Colby calls them). Nick keeps telling us that we need to go to bed or Santa won't come. As soon as Colby falls asleep we'll have to go to bed just to appease Nick

Hi again.

I finally get to sit down for a few minutes while I wait for the kids to get sleeping good and tight. My overnight french toast is soaking in the fridge, everything is wrapped, tripod is out. Not much longer!

Glynis - my prayers are with your family. I hope the injuries are not too serious.

Hello and Merry Christmas!!

I have missed you all the past two days!

Yesterday something exciting happened and I couldn't wait to share it with all of you

As most of you know Steve is adopted = this article appeared on the front page of our newspaper yesterday - his picture was huge on the front page and above the fold!! I am so proud to be his wife and wanted to share this with all of you!

I have to get the kids settled - of course Nick has an ear infection which got out of control at my in-laws while we were opening presents - poor little thing is so sick and my only option would be to go to the ER - motrin seems to be working and my doctor did prescribe some ear drops so I hope those work!!!

First of all and to Nick I hope he feels better soon.

Second of all I am in after reading the article, I have several friends who are adopted none of whose stories are as touching and complex as his. I am so glad an incredible family found him and helped him out. I am so glad to have met him, he is such an incredible and inspiring man who has overcome so much, I am thankful his story had a happy ending. You, Julia and Nick are lucky to have him. I am happy to know that he is involved with the orphanage to help others who might be in similar situations. Wish Steve a Merry Christmas from me.

I don't know if DS is sleeping, but DH is out like a light! I just went in to get some things out of the closet and even with the light on and the bags crinkling he didn't even twitch.

Christmas Eve in our house was nice. We put up the Christmas tree and got it decorated. The house is straightened up and all my presents are wrapped. I'm heading to bed now. I'll get up early to put the presents under the tree.

Well, there were functions in place on the "old" boards that I didn't know about and/or didn't use, so I imagine this will be the same! Someone said the old search function is back, but then Alex said it won't be for long because it makes the boards run too slow. Something about search running on Board Trackers server instead of the DIS's.

And right now there are none of those annoying ads, no TGM, no Swan/Dolphin or other sponsor banners. But I bet that is temporary.
