Done with my wrapping and am ready for tomorrow. Just chilling and doing a few loads of laundry to get ready to leave Tuesday for our friend's house in WV.

My back is the same. I am taking the pain meds regularly to make sure that I don't have severe pain. I don't have the luxury of time to lay around right now so it works best. I have some photos to share with you all.

Hi everyone! Glad to see the boards are up Just got home from my brothers, we had a very nice time. Sil made a spiral ham, yummy! Need to go make the sausage & egg casserole for breakfast so it can sit in the fridge overnight. Be back soon!

Hi, Kelli & Janet!

I am the only one still up at our house! DH went to bed about 8:30, and I made DS go to bed at 9 PM. I know DS will be up about 6 AM to open his presents.

I don't know which is worse - having him not know what he is getting and waking up early to find out, or having him know most of what he is getting and having him pester me every day to give it to him. He wanted to be surprised with his stocking stuffers so I made a separate trip to Target for those without him. I got him both PoTC movies, and I got the first 3 Harry Potter movies for DH. I figure they can share. We'll have to pick up the 4th Harry Potter later on because all they had at Borders was some deluxe edition for $32.

Hello and Merry Christmas!!

I have missed you all the past two days!

Yesterday something exciting happened and I couldn't wait to share it with all of you

As most of you know Steve is adopted = this article appeared on the front page of our newspaper yesterday - his picture was huge on the front page and above the fold!! I am so proud to be his wife and wanted to share this with all of you!

I have to get the kids settled - of course Nick has an ear infection which got out of control at my in-laws while we were opening presents - poor little thing is so sick and my only option would be to go to the ER - motrin seems to be working and my doctor did prescribe some ear drops so I hope those work!!!

I will try to be back in a little bit

Kate - WOW! What a sad, and happy, and powerful story! How lucky Steve was to find wonderful parents, and how lucky he is now to have a wonderful wife and children! Very, very cool. You and I had chatted before about our DHs both being adopted, but I didn't realize how complicated Steve's background was!

I am attempting to make a Jello dessert thing. It is a graham cracker crust, a layer of Cool Whip and cream cheese, topped with strawberry Jello mixed with mandarin oranges. I just finished the Jello layer. It has to chill for 3 hours, then we shall see! The pan weighs a ton.

Not on Yahoo but keep Glynis and her family in your prayers, her MIL or SIL sorry can't remember which one was in a car accident and has leg and pelvic injuries, I don't remember many details. Just send prayers and her way. Glynis I hope you don't mind I posted this.

There was weather talk, talk about what we did, sorry don't remember many details, I was going to keep the conversations and forgot to both nights.

It was her MIL that was injured in the accident.
