I think you can "invite to a conference"

I have a yahoo account as well. My id is UPturbo. That is my account for just about everything except for the DISboards.

yes - on yahoo there is a conference chat option and you can invite as many people as you want

Chris and I both have yahoo accounts, but I've never used Yahoo messenger, what would we need to know?

Deb

you have to download messenger onto your computer -

then you can ask people to be your friend

let us know when you got it and we will test it

I rarely use it, but seems very easy..we are testing out a chat room thing now and it looks like a good idea for "black out " time!

You use the same id's on Yahoo messenger as you do for Yahoo. Once you have it downloaded, let us all know your id's so we can add you.

A bunch of us are testing the conference function now. We have to be prepared for our outage tonight! We can't have a bunch of addicts go cold turkey just a couple of days before Christmas. What were they thinking! :rotfl:

I really like this chat room option we are using!
If anyone doesnt have Yahoo but wants to come in the chats whiel we are off the DIS, its really eas yto download and use!

Have a great day everyone! Those that have a Yahoo account, I will chat with you tonight :thumbsup2

I have to go get ready for lunch with my two best friends. We have had to cancel because of weather the last couple of times and I'm making this one. I'm then off for coffee (hot chocolate for me) with one of my former Girl Scouts who is home for Christmas. I miss her and when I called to get her address for her Christmas card, I told her I better see her during this holiday.

The chat function is really cool in Yahoo. At least I won't go stir crazy without my DDA friends this week-end while the DIS is down. I'll be calling people to let them know about it if I don't see them on yahoo while it is down.
