Hi Chris

Hi. Does anyone remember Kitchensinkguy/Deb(mythreeprinces)dh? I recieved my Christmass present early in the form of a laptop computer. I'll have to admit I'm darn near computer illiterate. As I'm typing this Deb is telling me of people posting greetings to me.Thank you.I see that Deb has broke the 5000 post mark,which means you probaly know whats going on better than I do. I,ll stop posting and try to catch up.

We eat at Garden Grill just about every trip, sometimes twice. We like the food and the character interaction. Chris and I even got "rehitched" there on our 12th Anniversary. They used to do a rehitching ceremony there where the waiter would do a little speech with the I do's and you would have to kiss while they counted to 100 or something like that. Then they presented you with a cake and a certificate. They stopped doing it a year or so ago. They used to have an afternoon ice cream social there too. The sundaes were good, but I'm not sure if they still do that or not.

Next trip we will definitely do Chef Mickeys, Whispering Canyon and ice cream at Beaches and Cream

The sad part is I didn,t have to look up the answear to the Garden Grill question, it just took me that long to type the answear in.
I noticed my signature is from the weight loss thread. As a long overdue update, I have now lost an additional 25 lb.s. I am now lighter than I have been since 17. How did everyone else do?

Awesome! You & Deb are doing great with this weight loss thing along with many of the other DDA! I lost about 15 pounds since the beginning of the year. I had lost 10 the 2 months before that. I still have about 15 pounds I'd like to lose but I haven't worked at it because it means an exercise routine. I'm just in maintenance mode right now. I have maintained the weight loss for at least 4 months now so I'm happy about that.

Deb - I am so sorry your pain is not getting any better!

Becky - I have to say, as bad as I am in the kitchen I have NEVER set off the smoke detector. DH has, though!

Jo - You have been busy! The yard art looks good!

Theresa - I hope your feet feel better soon!

Glynis - I hope you just have a backache and not a kidney stone!

Vicki - We have been to Coral Reef, and DH has requested to go back there. We have an ADR for our Feb trip. Never been to Garden Grill.

I have eaten at both...Garden grill was okay, but we felt very rushed ...It was the only time we have been there, so many thats not the norm..

Coral Reef was with teh family i babysit for...They loved the food (im so picky, so i ate off the kids menu!) but i loved the atmosphere of it!

We are at Coral Reef tonight and it will be a long time before we do it again. We waited 40 minutes past our ADR time, then the food wasn't that great, and it took 1 1/2 hours to get out of there. That's the second time we've had that kind of experience there. I hope if you do go there that you get much better service!

The Garden Grill, I do believe it is a character meal.

Which restaurant rotates at Epcot? My mind really is fried right now. It looks like we are going DDP on this trip as well so I have some bookings to change as well. We liked not worrying about what we were going to order and knowing it was already paid for. We figure that we can probably get the $38 per day for the 3 of us. Now if Katrina was with us, that would be a different story.

You can join us in our next New Year's Resolution, to add exercise to our lives. Last year weigh loss, this year exercise. Now all I have to do is get rid of this pain

I've lost 61 pounds, since January 1st I now weigh less than I did in ninth grade. Although I still have some weight to lose to my goal. Although originally my final goal was 60 pounds, so I've surpassed that and am moving on to my new goal of 100 pounds lost.

I set off our smoke detectors every now and then. I always tell the kids that is how I make sure they still work

Those are so cute!

This is what Colby and his brother's did tonight. Actually all 5 of us made these together.

Chris has been a doll and helped me with cleaning, shopping and even holiday treats I really needed all the help that I could get today.

Deb -- I'm so sorry you are going through all of the medical problems. Here's some PD and prayers that they can definitively find out what is wrong and easily fix it.

Tammi -- the pictures you posted are just beautiful! I'm sorry to hear about your Uncle.

Here's some PD and prayers for anyone else who needs it. I've finally caught up tonight. Woo Hoo!

We had a great day today. One quick thing -- we went to Epcot to see the tree ceremony tonight, and they sang the song Silent Night to turn the tree on. That's one of the songs we sang in my Mom's service -- it was her favorite Christmas carol. I really felt like that was another sign that I was supposed to take the trip.
