   DDA,

I'm sorry I've been mia for so long. RL is in the way. I really thought I would be back on Sunday, but no.

It was good to read about your life, Steffy. Enjoy your weekend but take some time out for yourself to rest!

and in case you are all wondering... my sore throat has turned into a cough and that is why I am up DISing at 2:30 in the morning. :teeth:

See you later on today, DDA!

Cool! When our dates get closer we will have to see if we can meet up. I do know Christmas day I am not planning on going to any parks. I want to use this day to check out decorations at other resorts & maybe go to DTD. I also want to ship a box down with some Christmas decorations for our room & some gifts for the boys. I have already started an itinerary lol

One of my friends buried her first born son while I was at WDW and I haven't even made it over to her house to give her a hug. Seems he was a victim of a randon act of violence; a robbery gone wrong and he was shot in the head. They have arrested 4 people ... 2 men and 2 women. Unflipping believable.... :sad2: :sad2:
:grouphug: I hope the fry the ********s.

Try to have a good weekend in between all the parties and shopping!

It's good to see you back posting.

Sounds like post nasal drip. :wizard: that it doesn't linger for long. But with this wacky weather, what can you expect!

Good morning!

This is the only snowman that I will see, at least for awhile anyway. (Not that I'm complaining).

The kids are still sleeping so I'm going to take this time and look through the treats thread before my busy day starts. Hope everyone enjoys their day.

Good morning, DDA! I have two recitals tonight and a holiday Open House to go to this afternoon. In between I am tryiing to help Bob figure out what he needs to get the girls for Christmas. His thought for Kristin??? A Harry Potter scarf......

I am sure she would prefer cashmere.... he does not comprehend that his daughters are women now.... :confused3

Well, my kids are settled down watching "The Year Without a Santa Claus", so I have some time to DIS. I love that Christmas show! I think it's my favorite! Brings back such wonderful memories!

What's going on with everyone? Got any good plans for the weekend? We are attending a Christmas breakfast at our church tomorrow morning, then a nephew's birthday party in the afternoon. I'll pick up our latest family pictures in the afternoon and take the kids to the library. Alan and I are thinking about taking the kids to a movie in the evening. I'm going to check to see if Charlotte's Web is playing anywhere near us.

What are your plans?

Good morning!

This weekend we will be celebrating Katie's 11th birthday! :cheer2:

Yep, my oldest baby is 11!!! :scared1: How'd that happen????

Seems like only yesterday I was

She is having a bowling party for 20 of her closest friends tomorrow. There was no way I could have 20 girls in my house for a party & they all love bowling. Today Katie & Sophie have cheerleading camp..(3 hours of cheering :cheer2: )

I am totally done shopping for Christmas & wrapped! I got my very last gift yesterday for Dana.."Team of Rivals Abraham Lincoln" book. He's a real history buff & this got great reviews.

Ok, I am off to get stuff done, I am going to go make cupcakes for her party tomorrow....I have colored icing to frost the cupcakes & then I am going to put on 3 M&M's on the top so it looks like a bowling ball (yea, I know I am REAL creative! :lmao: )

Have a great day everyone!

I understand your frustration with working on the holidays. Alan has to work Christmas day this year. Luckily, he's working a 2-11 shift, so he won't have to go in until all the presents are opened, and we've had brunch. It's kind of a bummer, but in the news business, things happen every day!

I know the frustration too! My dad is a firefighter and there have been many years he worked 6am-430 pm on christmas..when we were REALLY little, we did presents at 5am before he went..this year, my brother is working christmas day and dad is working christmas night
