I don't know....I can't get my head around the fact that one cs + drink, one ts (entree only) + drink, any snacks throughout the day, and any taxes and tips would be equal to or less than $38. Well, maybe if I ordered the cheapest thing on the menu. :confused3 Maybe I should just try it and and see how it goes. Or maybe I should make myself crazy and keep playing with these numbers.

For us I think it is very nearly a break even. Remember, we are working with a 10 year old who eats less than a 5 year old. So when we weigh out our cost our goal is to come in under $115 per day for the 3 of us on 2 meals & a snack. DH definitely gets his money's worth out of DDP, and I can hold my own. DS just can't eat $38 worth of food in a day no matter how you look at it. His breakfast was $6, lunch and dinner no more than $8 each before the DDE discount. Add in a $2 soda for a snack and his grand total for an entire day was $24, sometimes less than that. The kids meal at Norway is only $4 - Uncrustable, grapes, carrots, and milk. It's not DDE eligible, but it's only $4. Since your kids aren't 10 yet the DDP may be a better deal for you. If a CS breakfast is $6, TS dinner is $8, and a snack is at least $2 then paying $10 per day for a child on the DDP is a good deal. And if your kids will share with you then it might be a better deal, too. DS wants his own food, but he wants it from the kids menu. Paying for him to have the adult DDP puts us upside down from a cost standpoint.

Jennifer, I really enjoyed your Photopass pictures and the ones you posted here. Prince Phillip in your picture is the best friend of the girl who arranged for us to be in the parade. He's such a sweetie!

And for anyone who has been recently, if you have pics of Jasmine or Pocahontas, I'd love to see them to see if they are my friend. Thanks!

BTW, I haven't heard from Marci yet. I'll post when I do.

Good luck Kate! I can't wait to see your teams project!

Thanks Denice,
we missed Pochanontas, the Jasmine that is in our picture at the breakfast is the same one we saw later in the day with aladdin. The reason I say this is the comment she made about Olivia's shirt having her dad on it. Aladdin asked where his dad was, I told him the shirt design was of dad's and Daughters.

Well, there's no way I'm going to get 30 pages read tonight so I'll just say a quick "Hi!!!" We are having a great time!!! Saturday we did AK and MK. We got to see the shuttle liftoff just before Wishes. I thought that it was totally appropo that the view was directly over Tomorrowland. Today we did some Epcot FW and MGM. The Osbourne lights are amazing and the new dancing part is great! Terra is having a blast and loves the new Nemo show and rise.

We have seen the Dream Squad around a few times, but haven't seen any dreams awarded. We did however have a bit of pixie dust today in the way of free ice cream. A CM at the Kidcot in Living Seas was talking to Terra about her stuffed bear with us. She asked a bunch of questions about what Brownie bear had done, if he was riding rides and whether it was Brownie's first trip. Just before we left, she gave us a certificate in Brownie's name entitling us to an ice cream bar each. It was so cute!

We are up early tomorrow for breakfast with Jojo and the Little Einsteins so I'm going to finish my coffee and head to bed. I don't know if I'll be back on again or not. I got a 24 hour internet period to take care of something at home.

I hope that all is well with everyone. Have a good week.

Marci - My prayers are with you and your family this week. :grouphug:

We'll have a Pocahontas picture at least and most likely Jasmine too. Remind me if I forget to post them!

Jennifer love all the pictures you posted!

Hi Tia  Glad to hear you are having a great time!

Denise thank you for keeping us posted on Marci.

Marci :grouphug: & prayers

Denise - I don't think we saw Pocahontas, either. :confused3 DS will only stop for characters we haven't seen before though, so maybe I just don't remember.

Jennifer - For DH's stocking I put an apple & an orange (that's a tradition from when I was a little girl), some candy, razors & shaving cream, toothbrush, toothpaste, maybe a DVD or CD, anything else I can find that will fit in there. We have HUGE stockings that I bought at the Disney Store when I was pregnant with DS. I didn't realize how much of a challenge it would be to fill the darn things every year! :rotfl:

Lindsay - I meant to tell you we did get double miles for the trip! I am so glad you pointed out to me that it just said we had to travel during the specified dates!! I think we each got 4400 miles for this trip with the double mile bonus and the bonus for booking online. :thumbsup2

Woo hoo! :goodvibes

Finally caught up! Riley had a Christmas play at school today. They did a wonderful job with the decorations & costumes. One of the Angels had a solo & her voice was so beautiful. For being in 5th grade I was in awe, I am sure her parents are proud.

Riley & his cousin(my db's daughter) were narrators. Riley told me he was told to wear regular clothes. Sil & I both thought they would be wearing something costume wise. Nope! So Riley has a t-shirt with a big orange triangle on it, that says Danger with an arrow pointing up :rolleyes1 I knew I should have made him wear something different! I did take pictures, I will try to post them tomorrow.

I have always done the new tooth brush, I also put travel size hand lotion as he has very dry skin so these go in his truck. Last year I put an air freshner in but he never put them in his van. I put chapstick in their he never took them out of the package, He collects Shot glasses so I got him one at Disney besides the one for our hotel.

Well, my Christmas cards have come to a temporary halt. The guy who gave me my envelopes must have thought my order was for 30 cards instead of 50. I am 17 envelopes short. Great. Back to Sam's for a THIRD time tomorrow. At least it isn't far!
