Hi, Lindsay!
Yep. Pretty chilly out there! But the roads are really good, which makes me happy! Of course I don't go on the High 5 or the Mixmaster when it is icy, so there are probably folks who would disagree that the roads are good! :rotfl: Dadboss came home on the Tollway last night around 8 PM and he said it was fine. Well, maybe so, but I am glad I got to go home at 2:30!
I hope you have fun decorating this weekend! I guess we'll do that next weekend!
DH is facing the PE teacher without me, which is what DS wanted. I should hear from him in the next 30 minutes.

WPASADI UPDATE

Okay - we are planning a game for our cheerleaders - if you want to play let us know - you should have a few days to play and it won't take a long time but should be a lot of fun! The game you guys will be playing will be while we are working on our challenge

We need to know ahead of time who is playing to help us make up the teams!

If you want to play - please let me know! If you aren't a cheerleader - you can still sign up - I don't think there will be a lot involved being a cheerleader and you can win cool prizes as a cheerleader!

There will be Virtual Prizes involved!!!

Im in..and i just talked to Kimwim8--shes in too!

I did have a lot of plans ,but not sure that will happen this weekend..im still feeling pretty sick,so im going to take it easy..Im going to work on a project this afternoon and then a friend of mine is coming over--were both sick and stressed so were going to rent a movie, get some ice cream and relax..
Tomorrow ill finish this project and babysit at night...then sunday, i will most likely see my boyfriend, if hes home..

As long as i get the project done, ill be happy!

Weekend plans for me:

DH spoke to the PE teacher. She did apologize to DS and assured him that it was not her intent to embarrass him or make him feel bad. I think she said exactly what DS said she did yesterday, but I don't think she realized how it sounded to him. So DS says he feels better about it now, which is what I wanted. DH isn't 100% happy. I told him no matter what her intent was I wanted her to know she hurt his feelings, and I wanted her to say sorry. Both of those things happened. I think part of it is that DH doesn't like her to begin with. She doesn't know us from a hole in the ground. I am surprised she knows DS HAS a dad! For her to assume DH is a football fan is really a stretch. Anyway, hopefully there won't be anymore issues. The school year is half over, and next year he goes to middle school. Which may be out of the frying pan and into the fire, but maybe not.

Glad your son is relieved.....he's the one that counts here!!

Middle school has different issues but still an interesting bag of issues.

Abi is headed there next year!!

Theresa - I want to go to a Christmas tea! :Pinkbounc

I did too!! I went to one a couple of years ago at my church...decided I wanted to hostess a table. That means providing the service (plate, glasses, tea cups etc.), decorating the table and giving a favor to everybody at your table.

I am decorating in blue and silver...with a silver tree, blue and white confetti, father christmas dressed in blue, a candle set in blue, nativity...and other things if need be. I made 4 snowflake ornaments in silver and white and 4 blue and white star ornaments...those were the most time consuming.

I hope I can set a pretty table...some of these ladies go all out!!

UGH! I am SO much better at toddlers than I am at tweens!
I am glad DS feels better. I am glad they were able to sort it out before the weekend (and the trip) so it won't be hanging over him now.

Theresa - Your table sounds like it will be beautiful! I hope you enjoy yourself and aren't too worried about competing with the other hostesses!

Glad that it went well - or at least well from your and DS's perspective!

How many hours til Disney? :teeth:

My weekend is starting in about 15 minutes!! I am going to a Christmas party at a Country Club right outside of DC. The food should be spectacular! I'm really looking forward to it.

Tomorrow is Nicholas' bday and his party is from 10:30 until 1:00 at the roller rink. Well, I should say the skating is during those hours. We have the party room from 11:30-12:15. Then we will go home and start putting out some of our indoor Christmas decorations. Tomorrow night is our Christmas parade downtown. They have the Clydesdale horses leading it off and I know the kids would love to see them, so we will probably go to that. Plus the weather isn't going to be too bad. The only problem is that the parade can last for several hours!

Then on Sunday afternoon we have our first pageant rehearsal, and after that we are going to make birthday cupcakes for Nicholas to take to school on Monday. Hopefully sometime we will get the tree up, maybe not decorated but at least up!

I probably won't get home until late tonight, so if I don't talk to y'all again, have a great night!

I promise to take pics!!

The biggest thing is I can't remember if I am supposed to set the table for 6 or 8!! :confused3 I have a full set of china for 6 a mismatch for the 7th and the 8th person(me...if there is one) will have a funny place setting!! :teeth:

I gotta remember I was never promised, or do I ever promise, normal!!

Elizabeth - I'm glad DS feels better. And if I don't catch you before you leave....HAVE A GREAT TIME!!!!!
