This always happens. I was asleep on the couch at 8 PM last night, moved into the bedroom at 10:30, and then I was awake at 3:20. Part of that was DH snoring. After he rolled over I was able to sleep a bit more.

When we are at Disney I can never sleep more than about 4 hours per night. By the end of those 9 night trips I am pretty tired! This one is just a 4-nighter, so I won't be THAT tired at the end!

I don't know about you, but I have found earplugs to be a lifesaver. With DH's constant snoring, I would have killed him 100 times over

I have been sick off and on all week-end. It was at it's worst last night. I'm hoping that it is out of my system. However, I'm now way behind on getting things done. I'm driving to Lansing this afternoon. I was supposed to attend a baby shower tonight but I'm telling them that I can't attend. I don't want to get the mom-to-be sick. She is a single, 48 year old that decided she wanted a child. I don't want to put her at any more risk than she is already. She is due at the end of December. I'm off here to get the things done that I have to do before heading down. I may be on tonight once I get to the motel. If not, you won't see me until a few minutes on Thursday. Have a great week DDA. I love you all.

I'm curious. Is Cassidy's book "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime"? If so, I'm surprised it's recommended for someone her age. The language and subject matter is a bit strong for someone her age. Of course, I'm probably way off base, and it's probably a totally different book.

Nope, that is it. I was also surprised but with her being in the honors English class I suppose it was to be expected. They also read Night as their last book and I know they have some interesting ones next semester as it's their sophmore year of Language Arts.

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Despite the fact we're all sick, we had a nice holiday weekend at the lake. My Christmas "to do" list is a mile long, so I don't know if I'll ever get caught up, but I wanted to all the December travelers a magical WDW vacation!

Sister got one of those horrible "Poop Scoopin'" Barbies for her birthday. When I took her to school this morning she had the "poop" in her cubby. She must have smuggled it out of the house last Wednesday when Momboss took her to school. I always search the kids for contraband so they know better than to try to take toys to school. I told her NO WAY was she going to have little magnetic poop at school. A large fight followed. I ended up telling her the poop had to go in her backpack and stay there, and I would take it out as soon as she came home. I was shocked that her teacher said she had a good day. She has a horrible cold so I figured her day would be crummy.

Abi wants that Barbie....just for the pooping dog.... . I guess I never should have expected normal from my kids.

Morning, DDA! We have a 2 hr. school delay today. Mostly because of the ice. We're getting some snow which we don't normally get, so people don't know how to drive in it.

That storm is coming our way....the high today will be 40 and won't be back in the 40's until this weekend. Cassidy is looking forward to marching in the cold!!

I showed dh pictures of the suites at ASMu & he said he would not mind staying there. We both like the idea of the boys having a seperate room, small kitchen, 2 bathrooms, ect. Well I checked online & had my TA check & for the dates I am wanting they are already booked I knew rooms booked fast for holidays, but I did not think this soon! I read that more suites will be opening up in Jan., we will see. I guess if one does become available I will have to book before March like I was planning. But you know what WE ARE DEFINETLY GOING TO DISNEY FOR CHRISTMAS NEXT YEAR!
