Chase Madison arrived safely and happily at 3:49 this afternoon! Kristi's water had broken this morning, but Chase was still taking her time. They started pitocin around 11 and when I arrived at 2:30 Kristi was at about a 4. At 3 she was at a 6 and asked for the epidural. The anesthesiologist was with another patient and was coming to Kristi next, but Chase was apparently more than ready by then. Before they could even get Kristi ready for the epidural she was at a 10 and ready to go. Chase was born after no more than 10 minutes of pushing. She is beautiful and looks just like her big brother, though not quite as dark of a complextion.

Mom brought the kids up an hour or so later while Chase was off being cleaned up and checked out. Connor had to go check on her in the nursery window at least a dozen times during that time. All of the kids were awed by Chase and more than excited to see her.

Kristi is doing really well and was feeling great when we left with no pain. Chase was 7lbs, 8oz and 19 3/4 inches and is eating like a pro already.

Christmas is a big, boisterous event at your place.
And no matter what, something hilarious usually happens.

For you, it's all about sharing times with family.
Even if you all get a bit cheesy at times.

For anyone who has loved ones deployed--I just saw this on the news, never thought about it, but it makes sense!

A local soldier told his mom that they needed silly string in the next care package..Apparently they use it to spray in doorways and if there is any type of hidden trap, the silly string will land on it so they know..
We just added it to our list of stuff to send to Steve, so thought i would share it here!

She's beautiful, Tia!

I just want to comment, Tia, on how much happier you seem now that you are living around your friends and family. You obviously made the right decision!

Thanks, Tammi! I think it was the right choice too. I think that Terra is a lot happier too.

Congratulations Auntie! She's beautiful and your Dsis looks GREAT!!!

Doesn't she! She brushed her hair about 30 minutes after Chase was born and I tell you she looked like she'd just been lounging around all day, not going through heavy labor.

I just finished all my rebate forms from Black Friday. Gotta love Staples on line easy rebates. Also had 2 from Radio Shack that had to be done with UPC codes. All together I should get $58 back. I usually put rebates into my Disney fund. :teeth:

I even paid all my bills and put all my receipts away. I thought I had lost one of my Kohl's cash slips but I found that. Now I just need to get back there to spend the money by Saturday.

So here's my to do list before my trip:
make pillowcase for Joe for autographs
fix Mickey sweatshirt
make postcards/labels
make CM cards
I think I have enough Mousekeeping envelopes but check that-and put $ in envelopes
decorate for Christmas
take Christmas photo
mail Christmas cards
get Emma's school photo enlarged (we got the negatives as part of the package-it was her first ever professional photo and it came out great)
pack
keep checking weather everyday
mail packages to out of town family
mail stuff back to Disneyshopping
order picture puzzle for niece
order picture collage for SIL
find Christmas outfit for Lizzy
go spend Kohl's cash
check off pennies from the pressed penny list
gather quarters and clean pennies

I guess I better get to bed so I have some energy to tackle some items on that list.

I like them I got a 5T the pants are a little long.

I may have to go check them out. She wears a 5 in most things, but the pants are ALWAYS long. I had to switch from the T stuff because the extra bulk for diaper room was causing her to always wiggle around and pull like her panties didn't fit right. With pajamas though that souldn't be as big of an issue I don't think.

One day?!?! How is Olivia sleeping? Will she survive another day?

I found exactly what I was looking for for Joe for his birthday (Jan 10th). He's been so into calendars lately. Always checking what day of the week everyone's birthday is. Knows the order of at least Oct/Nov/Dec/Jan/Feb-I don't know if Lizzy knows the order of the months yet. So I wanted to get him a magnetic white board calendar. Melissa & Doug make one available on line for about $20 + shipping. I wasn't crazy that it folded in half-kind of big. Today I found one at Marshals that is just one piece (about 16 x 20-does not fold) with the calendar on one side and blank white board on the other. Has the magnets for months and dates and lots of activities/holidays. I think he's going to flip over it! And it was only $9.99.

Tia she is beautiful, tell Kristi congrats.and congrats to the proud aunt

I hope that everyone had a good day. Sending prayers, :wizard: and :grouphug: to all of you.

I am so glad that my group project partner used some of my revisions that he wasn't going to. However at my suggestion he reread the class comments and realized that the changes were necessary. I redid the paper with bullets and more headings, he doesn't like bullets and wasn't going to incoporate them. However when paragraphs are almost entirely full of commas they are necessary. He included the bullets and more headings in the paper. :woohoo: :woohoo:

So I'm done I submitted my last module and my partner is printing out and mailing our paper and I am finished except for some post project discussion, besides that I'm finished till January. :woohoo: :woohoo:

I tried to go to the liberry today to get movies, but they were closed cause its Monday. Hopefully I will get there tomorrow after work and getting my hairs trimmed.

Have a good night everyone.

Jennifer are you and Olivia excited? Have a great trip!!!!!
yes, I stopped at walmart on the way home tonight to pick up some snacks for the trip. I got home and Olivia came out on the front porch and the first thing she said after hi Mommy was she wanted to go to Disney world.

Hey! :wave2:

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Despite the fact we're all sick, we had a nice holiday weekend at the lake. My Christmas "to do" list is a mile long, so I don't know if I'll ever get caught up, but I wanted to all the December travelers a magical WDW vacation! :goodvibes

Here's a blanket of :grouphug: and :wizard:

Take care!
Amy :)

P.S. Here's the Christmas card Kevin created. We ordered them from Winkflash and we're very impressed with their quality. :thumbsup2
