We had good luck as well....as a matter of fact, we celebrated Bill's bday there. The diver paid a visit to our table. It was one of our highlights!!

How cute!

To quote Clare... "BLIMEY, you guys were hyper last night!" It took me an hour to read and respond to everyone and I know I missed some. Hope you all have great days today.

Three sleeps and a wake up for us......

Pretend the cow is a possum.

Or just wait awhile. Usually they are stupid enough to wonder out in front of a car.

Wow! I go to work and have 17 pages to catch up on!

Tammi, your portraits look terrific! It sure would be hard to choose which ones to buy. Alyssa's hair looked cute too, BTW. :thumbsup2

Welcome back Chris aka kitchnsinkguy! We need another regular male poster here besides me! :goodvibes

Marci, so glad you are having a great time!

Elin, your treats look fantastic! I haven't had much time to do anything this year! I still might do some quick and easy treats, just because it's CHRISTMAS and I think that is what you are supposed to do! :rotfl:

Elizabeth, so glad you got your tree up! I bet it was a sight to see you slithering under the tree to put the tin foil on the branches. I don't know why, but I pictured the Grinch, and the way he slithered around!

Deb, your little mouse treats look almost too cute to eat! You sure are one talented and crafty lady!

Vicki, I hope you feel better soon! Please drive safely to Lansing today!

Well, I am going off memory, and my memory is shot at the moment, so for anyone I missed :wizard: :grouphug: pixiedust:

Well, it is past MY bedtime! So off to dreamland for me!

Thanks for all of the :wizard: and well-wishes. The power of the DDA came through yet again. I was able to get the dogs into the kennel.

And thank you Elin, for the thought, but I would never expect you to give up Buttons' spot. I wouldn't let you either!! It seems Buttons, Shane and Peanut will be roommates this week.

Seems to me they were before too! Button will be glad for the company I am sure. She HATES to be boarded!

I am so glad they had room for Peanut and Shane. I bet if this was next week they wouldn't have. Now, we will hope and pray for really good weather for you all to travel.

Morning DDA!
I forgot I had an appointment to go get an ultrasound this morning, so i gotta go get that done! They want to check for tumors/scar tissue in my neck since im off for the next month in case i need any more surgery...Ill be back after my ultrasound! talk to you guys later and have a great day!

Good morning, DDA! :)

Elin - Glad you are feeling better! Your trip will be here before you know it!

Tammi - I am glad the kennel has a place for your pups! :)

Tom - I love the Grinch! And I will be decidedly Grinchy if the cat doesn't leave my tree alone! :furious: DS said she was under it this morning, on her hind legs, gnawing on something. The lights still work so far. I need to see if I can find some boxes to put under it to keep her from being able to get to the underside of the branches. Obviously my foil isn't going to thwart her efforts.

Stephanie - This is the time of year I really miss having employers who would go on a ski trip for a week or so around Christmas! ;) I do have a 4 day weekend coming, but I have 5 work days to finish before then! I don't know anything about possums. We had one in our big outdoor trash can once when I was in high school, but as soon as my mom tipped the trash can over the possum just walked away. :confused3

Jen - Good luck at the Dr.!

I think DS and I are headed to the book store for some gifts. We are probably going to have dinner with our friends on Saturday so I need to get them something. I still don't know what to get for my mother, and whatever I get has to be mailed so it may be late. Hope everybody has a great Monday!

Well, I called my new boss to ask him if I really needed to drive to Lansing. He has told me to stay home. I'll be sorry to miss the Christmas luncheon as that is always fun. We do a Yankee swap with nice stuff. I'll call in for the meeting in the morning. I'm taking today off so that I can just laze around and hopefully finally kick this thing! Though, just lazing around this week-end didn't get rid of it. However, my sore throat is gone and I'm not quite as congested.

I'm off to get a couple more hours sleep. Then I'm hoping to get a little Christmas decorating done around here. I felt so bad this week-end, I pretty much just laid in my recliner all week-end.

Oh NO!!. I am so sorry. I hope that it passes quickly and that you don't suffer too much.

Well, it seems to have passed! The Lortab helps most of the pain, but once those suckers start moving, you can really feel it. I have no pain this morning, just a stiffness that usually comes after a stone. I was lucky and took the Lortab just in time! My last stone was last January, so it's been almost a year. That's a record for me! I'm assuming it's because I'm drinking so much more water. Hopefully, the time in between stones will continue to get longer and longer!

How are you feeling today?

Ramiro wanted to show everyone his yard-art.
If you look close there are small metal flowers in the bed.
He also picked out the butterflies.
We are looking for Flamigos & a pink yo-yo.
To add in the front yard.

LOVE IT!!!

Hi. Does anyone remember Kitchensinkguy/Deb(mythreeprinces)dh? I recieved my Christmass present early in the form of a laptop computer. I'll have to admit I'm darn near computer illiterate. As I'm typing this Deb is telling me of people posting greetings to me.Thank you.I see that Deb has broke the 5000 post mark, which means you probaly know whats going on better than I do. I,ll stop posting and try to catch up.

Hi, Chris, it's nice to "see" you again! I am with you on the computer illiteracy! The things just confuse me. I can email and DIS and that's about the extent of my computer knowledge!

Hi, Colby! My 2 big kids are at school. They have until Wednesday before the break. My twins, Leslie and Mary are playing with their cousin Sammy. We are babysitting today, so they are happy! They love playing with Sammy.

How are you today? Are you helping Mommy get ready for Christmas?
