Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Given a choice between CR atrium club vs. club 14th floor which would you choose? & why?
They both now currently have the same food service. The Atrium CL is larger but serves the entire floor. The Tower CL only serves the Suites, and (4) regular rooms but is a smaller space.

The Balconies are larger on the Tower CL floor vs the Atrium CL (12th floor).

They just announced that the WL dock is going rehab. Think it was May to end of July. No boats

Here's the updated info we know so far, according to WDW news today:

The dock will undergo routine maintenance from April 13 through late July 2026. The dock will be fully closed and boat transportation suspended from April 13 through May 1.

I assume this means beginning May 2nd there will be boat transportation, but I would suggest keeping an eye on this if you're staying at the WL in May. ((which I am lol))

Yes lobster bisque. I did see another video where they said the soup was so good but they didn’t say what kind. I love soup for lunch.

So I just changed my signature. I have a 50.50 chance I’ll be at poly cl soon. If dh comes we are doing the 1 bedroom TPV poly tower villa for 2 nights instead of the poly cl nights. Them gf RPC the last night.

Depends on his work schedule so we wait n see. What is nice about poly tower rooms is you can get “ to go “ from waialulu and Kona and eat in your beautiful room!

Oh just reread your post, July 4th at poly is the best time to go followed by NYE. Please share lots of pix!
I love soup too! I'm looking forward to the changes at CL and so looking forward to the 4th there. It's been a few years since we've done that and we've got lots of relaxation days planned. Will def take lots of pics!

The poly tower looks so nice and relaxing. To go sounds awesome too. We didn't get a change to try waialulu last summer so looking forward to trying it this year. Have great trip!

It would be fine, since I have made other dining reservations. However, I did read on one Disney Site the following: According to the official announcement, the Wilderness Lodge dock will undergo routine maintenance from April 13 through late July 2026. As part of this work, boat transportation will be temporarily suspended from April 13 through May 1.
Oops, edited, just saw that TigrLvsPooh posted this!

@ mkymouse4ever:
I think the 14th floor is quieter most of the time. There is ample food and drinks for the amount of
folks usually staying there. Several times we were the only people eating there and that can feel kind of weird. The balconies are huge, and the theme park view is really fabulous. It also feels pretty quiet and
remote. I prefer the rooms on the 14th floor, but I don't love the Incredibles refurb in general.
I find the 12th floor pretty chaotic during breakfast and dinner rush, and the staff (IMHO) were not quick to clean up the tables.
I would stay on either floor again, though.

Agree with all of this. If there's a choice, I would go with 14.

BLTinkerbell,
Does Kilamonjaro Club AKL have a listing of the rotation somewhere also? How could I find that info?
Thank you.
I haven’t stayed CL there yet. I have stayed at Kidani (not CL) and it’s a beautiful resort!
Hopefully someone here can answer that question.
Or check the AKL resort thread to see if anyone there can help.
Happy planning!

And as a reminder Wailulu now allows ADR for Dinner 5-10 PM in advance beginning at the 60 day mark or even right from within MDE when you look at the Wailulu entry.

Oh I didn't know this thank you!
Last month we visited poly and tried to get seating without a reservation. Even though the restaurant had many empty tables we were told at least 45 minute wait. With a baby that’s not really doable. We started to head to GCH and I pulled out the app and joined the wait list. It said 10 mins for 3 , I booked it and it crashed. I tried again and only party of 2 would work so I booked it as 2 adults. We were texted in about 2 mins that the table was ready.

They seemed annoyed I booked for 2 after just telling me when we tried we were a party of 3, but I am not exaggerating, there were 6-8 empty tables of 4 the whole time we were there. As one table cleared they seated a different one but many empty tables, we did not actually take someone’s table of 4. Actually I only saw one empty table of 2.

So book what you can find and just say a family member changed their mind.

Sweet potato hummus is a must try!

It’s a 4 day rotation. I know Sunday & Wed. are Buttered Chicken because it’s the only day I eat anything! lol There is not a list or menu set out, but you can get an idea of what’s served if you watch some YouTube videos or go back and look at some recent pictures HERE. When you get there, you can ask a CM and they will show you the daily offerings for the week. Enjoy!

Sounds like they don’t have enough kitchen & serving staff scheduled to accommodate more customers.
