It sounds like things are for the most part fine in the DDA world. I am working on getting things done before DH gets home so we don't need to do them then (laundry, weekend cleaning, blah blah blah).

Dawn you & Caroline are in my thoughts

Dawn literally called two minutes after we got home. I just got off the phone with her, and I can reassure you that Caroline is going to be fine, but she's still in the hospital until an official diagnosis can be made.

All signs are pointing to a severe case of reflux. Most likely she will be put on medicine, but there's still a chance for a PH probe. The poor baby has undergone a spinal tap, EEG, cat scan, and several other tests, but thankfully all of them show everything is normal (no brain damage from lack of oxygen, etc.)

They are still waiting for some other 48 hour test results to come back, but they think Caroline will be discharged tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Dawn's blood pressure has never gone down, and obviously it was through the roof yesterday, so she was prescribed her own medicine yesterday. She will be haunted by Caroline's limp, blue body for a long time.

Tomorrow am is the Meet Your Teacher day at school. I just had 2 new children added, so I've been working like a mad woman trying to print it all up. Rees has a doc appt after school tomorrow, and then my parents arrive on Friday for the holiday weekend. I won't be on much. If anyone gets news of Dawn or June or Kate (good luck on surgery Friday! You're in my prayers), will you please PM me or email me at home?

Thank you....I needed that giggle. Thankfully we've caught it the last two times before too much damage happened or it would be 5 floods in the basement in less than 3 years....we so need out of here!!

Actually the girls who stay in that long are usually the best girls with very little drama....you'll be fine....plus your not their mama....I seem to get the drama because I'm the mama!!

Oh, I know, I doubt we will have issues , there are 17 of them one 6th grader and the rest are 7th and 8th graders. I was requested by some of the girls as I did a presentation on my Silver and Gold Award projects last year for the combined Cadette/Senior troop, which according to my current co-leader was one of the most talked about things last year. The troop was split as they are definitely into different things and their are 7 girls in the Senior level, so definitely enough girls to split into two troops.

I am kind of sad that the Brownie troop I had is being combined with another troop but the other troop wanted to meet the same night that we met last year so it all worked out. Except that my troop met every week and they are only every other.
