That's a bit early!!! Night, Glynis!!
I almost said but that's only in 3 1/2 hours forgetting she is several hours behind me.

I on the other hand have went to bed at 3am the last couple nights and have been up by 7am you'd think I'd be tired. I am :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc and all day today. I did hit my knee on the counter today and it is quite sore I should find some ice or heat or something for it.

I have the same problem...I forget you all aren't right here in my time zone....until you mention making dinner just as I get back from lunch. :rotfl2:

Remember that we used to talk about poop? Well, I have a poop story for you! I was holding Matthew at the aquarium and I heard that infamous exploding noise. I have no idea how it defied gravity, but that poop shot straight out the back of him, all over my pants and shirt!!!

I dragged my whole family into the women's bathroom and Kevin changed Matthew while I attempted to clean myself up. It wasn't pretty...that stuff sets in fast. I used Matthew as a shield for the rest of the night, to hide the stains, and luckily he spared me any future explosions this evening. My clothes are now soaking in Oxy Clean.

I guess from now on, I need to pack three change of outfits in the diaper bag: Alyssa, Matthew, and ME!!!!
:rotfl: I remember those days. With my firstborn I was changing him on a layover and he peed all over me. We had several more hours between the layover and the flight. :sad2: I had large wetspots and I smelled in the heat. I remember my DH :lmao:. He went and bought me a shirt to wear when we got to our destination as I didn't want to ride in the shuttle like that. I wore it a ton that trip. Eventually someone pointed out to me I was wearing a nightshirt. :rolleyes1 In my sleep deprived state I hadn't noticed it. I just thought he had got the wrong size. :confused3 So yes I would say pack an extra shirt at least. :thumbsup2

I had a super busy day today. I started out doing housework, cleaning bathrooms and laundry. yuck. I moved on to the pile of jeans that I got from my Mom. I was able to find 4 pairs that fit Hunter and 4 for Nick and 1 pair for Summer, but they all needed to be shortened. So I shortened 9 pairs of pants. Then since the sewing machine was already out I decided to make Colby the blanket that I had been promising him since June. So now I'll share some photos.

Colby's room from the Cars redo in June

Notice the picture above his bed. That is actually 1/2 of a pillowcase. I kept the other half to incorporate into a new blanket for him. So here it is, although it is a bit more like a quilt than a blanket.

And look what's hidden in the bubble print. . . I swear that it is not even a Disney print and Colby picked it out himself :rotfl: What can I say, the kid has good taste.

Oh and I manage to pack clothing for 3 of us for our upcoming camping trip and pick up a bunch of stuff outside that was too wet to pick up before. I also talked Chris into going for a walk with me. All in all a busy day.

The boys start school tomorrow so we will be up bright and early here. I must get myself to bed earlier.

Deb
The room looks great and the blanket looks great. :goodvibes

I am so glad you all kept me up tonight...I realized that I had been hearing running water for too long and went upstairs to investigate. My grandpa had left an outside spigot open!! I think he is going for a record amount of floodings in a 3 year period!!

Dawn literally called two minutes after we got home. I just got off the phone with her, and I can reassure you that Caroline is going to be fine, but she's still in the hospital until an official diagnosis can be made.

All signs are pointing to a severe case of reflux. Most likely she will be put on medicine, but there's still a chance for a PH probe. The poor baby has undergone a spinal tap, EEG, cat scan, and several other tests, but thankfully all of them show everything is normal (no brain damage from lack of oxygen, etc.)

They are still waiting for some other 48 hour test results to come back, but they think Caroline will be discharged tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Dawn's blood pressure has never gone down, and obviously it was through the roof yesterday, so she was prescribed her own medicine yesterday. She will be haunted by Caroline's limp, blue body for a long time.

Please keep all of them in your prayers. If you would like Dawn's address to send her a note, please PM me.

Thank you Amy, thank you for passing on the info.
More PD and prayers for Dawn, Caroline and the rest.

Thank you, Christi! I know what you mean about not being able to find personalized things. :rotfl:
Funny how I thought that was such a big deal when I was little. The drama of a 12 YO girl.

Paula-

Our postcard came in the mail today...I think mail from your house to mine makes another stop somewhere along the way!!

Your princesses are practically perfect!!

It sounds like things are for the most part fine in the DDA world. I am working on getting things done before DH gets home so we don't need to do them then (laundry, weekend cleaning, blah blah blah).

I will check in tomorrow.

night all / read ya later

I'm alright. I understand completly.

Oh I forgot to say thank you for the fun this afternoon. I was in need of a break and saw someone (Tammi) post a funny smile so I had to have some fun also.

Now I am off.
